what languages do you speak? Do you have just one first language/language spoken when you were little? Multiple? Do you still speak them? How about ones you learned later? Are you fluent? that sort of thing

I’ll start! My first language is English (specifically American English lol) but I’ve been learning Spanish for five years and counting and I consider myself mostly fluent (not native level by any means but I can read/listen/write/speak well enough, and my abilities there aren’t much worse than in English, though my vocabulary is definitely less robust). I know a bit of French from my mom and middle school, and can figure some other things out à la Spanish. I can also swear in six languages (I don’t but I could lol) (I forgot asl. Seven.)

I’m most comfortable with English, idgaf about British or American I probably use a mix of the two spellings. My school forces me to learn my mother tongue/lh, so I’m also okayish at Chinese, passable. Been learning it alongside English from young.

And recently I’ve started learning German as a school program, just since the start of this year. I can speak simple sentences???

I'm fluent in English, whether American or British, and I've learned some Spanish and Italian! I've taken one Spanish class (which I forgot quite a bit of), and I took Italian language lessons on Duolingo for a few months (I think?), though I don't remember much of it.

Whenever someone asks though, or I say a sentence in Italian, this is what I say!

I’m learning German and I’m okayish at it. I also learned a few Thai words but that’s it.

I dunno lady, maybe because trans men transition, not to access positions of privilege (that wouldn’t even be accessible in the first place because they’re trans men) but because that’s just who they are??
