Hello! Welcome to this-is-trans-solidarity, a place for positivity between all kinds of trans people. Since there has been attempts to divide us all apart, I thought a reminder that we’re all in this together would be nice.

Obviously talk to your doctor about changing up any medication, but it’s pretty simple. Just skip the placebos and go straight to the next batch.

As far as I’m aware it doesn’t affect your fertility, so if you want to get pregnant one day you can still do that.

I have experienced both extremes of the weight spectrum because of my chronic illness and medications.

I was severely underweight while I was sick because one of the ways my illness manifests is severe lesions and sores in the mouth. It hurt to eat. I lived off protein shakes and ice cream. I lost so much weight during that time. Because of this, I now associate being underweight with being sick, hurting, and basically being a living corpse.

They gave me steroids as a part of my treatment. For anyone that doesn’t know, the main side affect of steroids is an intense increase in hunger, as well as changes with your metabolism. Despite the uncomfortable side effects, steroids have still proven to be the most affective way to treat my illness and keep it under control. I gained a lot of weight on the steroids, and even though it was uncomfortable, I was happy. I was healing, I was getting better, and I felt alive again. I now associate being fat with my healing process.

I love you disabled transgender people that need assistance from others for basic needs.

I love you disabled transgender people who still live with their parents as adults.

So my cousin (5 year old girl) and I (19 year old cis girl[?]) are playing a dress up game on her ipad. I have short hair irl already, so i give my character short hair. I also put it in a suit because it was pretty. My cousin is like "oh its a boy!" [I do correct her because very conservative family]

Cut to her finishing her character and one for my mom. She goes to show her and says "here's you, and here's me, and here's your son!"

And like...yeah the kids are alright
