I'm so glad my recent lapse in fandom discourse has been cathartic for you too lol. I've been actively trying to Not Say Anything on tumblr for literal years, but the dam just broke recently. I do firmly believe that much of the blame lies on the tumblr admins who refuse to allow us to completely hide blocked tags on the mobile app--perhaps the fandom frustration and discourse it engenders is good for business?

But yeah, more and more I think it would be best for the fandoms to properly decouple because we really are talking about a completely different set of characters at this point. Also, I selfishly do not want to hear about their new versions of characters because I have pretty significant moral and philosophical differences with their writers and fanonisers about the redemptive capacity of trauma.

ooh another fun question. i'm going to miraculous you actually anon. one of the most hidden hidden gems in my bookmarks: the gleaming truth by @caandlelit. i literally read the summary and i was like. ok buckled in this feels like something that'll be right up my alley. and i was RIGHT

god just SUCH a good character study of Adrien. beautiful and lyrical and so introspective in a way i love. go read this <3
