@davidtrueb was excited about finishing the firing last night. Everything is a test. “Try it and See”. Started checking cones around the kiln after shutting it down. All of a sudden he is pulling a glowing orange mug out of the kiln. It was one of mine and put it in a metal bucket filled with wood pellets and donkey poo. Puts the lid on it and let’s it smolder. Basically doing a high fire raku.
