Like I need to establish the context here. So, Han Solo, right? "Scoundrel" with a heart of gold, popular Original Trilogy character, you know. So lots of writers wanted to use him, or something like him, but couldn't use him directly for reasons like "he was clearly not involved in stealing the Death Star plans" or "this story is set 4000 years before the movies." So by the time KotOR 2 was in development in 2004, there were a lot of shitty Han Solo knockoffs running around the galaxy.
