As a type-2 I know unequivocally that while both are similar and have commonalities, type 1 and 2 are incredibly different beasts. I feel guilty sometimes talking about my type 2 struggles and results with my type 1 friends. I feel like a guy with a busted knee talking to someone with a leg amputation.
