Thinking about Gansey’s fear of death and his bond with a car that never stops dying. Thinking about how after his final death he is given a car that is still finicky and unique but won’t ever die again.

blue and noah’s kiss is actually so tragic, because it doesn’t matter and it doesn’t change anything. they both want to escape their fate, but in the end he’s still dead and she’s still cursed. it has no impact on the romantic plots because noah is not alive and will never be an option for blue, even if he wanted to be. by the end of the books, the kiss is forgotten, just like noah was.
