i have to admit it’s actually extremely funny how game of thrones completely collapsed as a cultural phenomenon basically overnight due to how fucking bad the last season and ending were, and also how like the showrunners specifically rushed the ending so they could move on to some disney star wars project but the rushed ending was so fucking bad they actually were removed from the star wars thing too.

it hurts a lot to know that jenna isn’t going to be coming back. i feel a little bit like i’m in mourning and i know tons of other people feel the same way. i love her and want her to do what is best for herself, she’s been thinking of us and putting us first for so many years that she deserves to finally rest and focus on herself, her dogs and julie. but it still sucks to know there is not going to be another me time video, or a video of jenna trying new crafts and being lowkey great at them, or more videos with kermit crying because he’s a middle child. even though it’s been several weeks now, it still sucks. i think i’ll always miss her.

but with that being said, julien is still here. he is giving us his all and trying his damndest to keep our spirits lifted and to get himself back into the swing of filming and streaming and recording the podcast. and he deserves nothing but our love and support as he tries this new journey on his own for the first time. his videos are incredible and beautiful, he’s a great mini chef and his attitude and sense of humor is something that always made the podcasts and the streams enjoyable. he doesn’t intend on stopping and i for one am excited to see where he continues to go.

it’ll be very weird without jenna there, but julien will still be there for us. so i think we need to be there for him, too.
