Reminder that you’re not lazy for spending so much time in bed. When you’re chronically/mentally ill, you need to rest and be as comfortable as possible. 

When you’re up to it, you can do some useful things while in bed, and that’s not lazy either – it’s just accommodating yourself. Sending emails/texts, snacking/drinking water, reading/watching entertainment – all of these things are good to do without having to move. Stay busy as much as you can to fight off the funky feelings.

The reblog button is in the middle?? The least accessible spot. And it now takes 3 clicks to reblog something instead of 2

Harder to see how many total notes a post has. Have to click on the comments button to see comments and previous reblogs OR click on reblog and then another click

Why the FUCK is the share button where the like button used to be? Visually a nightmare. A nightmare for my muscle memory

Tumblr runs on likes, reblogs, comments, and all of the little ways a post takes on a life of its own. Until now, those interactions were bundled together as “notes”.

Now, on web (and soon on the Tumblr app!), we’re giving you more details right on the post:

Separate counts for likes, reblogs, and comments, so you can see at a glance what kind of activity a post is getting, and if there’s chatter in the comments or the reblogs, you’ll know right away.

The reblog button opens more options, including Add to queue (previously Fast Queue).

The total notes count is still available on every post’s permalink page (just tap the header to get there).

Why the change? We want to make it easier to follow the conversations happening around posts. Separating likes, reblogs, and comments lets you quickly see whether a post is sparking discussion, taking off in reblogs, or simply stacking up likes.

We heard you. Many of you told us you missed having edit and delete buttons right on your posts, and we get it. They made it quicker to fix a typo, tweak a tag, or remove a post entirely.

So, we brought them back. You’ll now see edit and delete options on web right where you expect them to be.

Man, this line is already pretty sad when you think, like, this is Minerva wanting to vicariously live through her son, wanting him to have both the Physical Organic Experiences that she can't have anymore...

...And also have the relationship experiences that she doesn't feel like she'd ever have again...

But then you also think about how a few years after this scene, Jake died, and Finn's only coping mechanism was to dissociate from everything... He spent years just going through the motions of what used to make him happy but actually just wasting time until he can finally die...

And, like, at least things got better for him after this episode. He didn't need Huntress Wizard to go out dancing or attend Peebs' Gumbo Festival with him, but it did really help him to know that he's loved.

But.... We also know that on some level, he never resolved that problem completely...

In "Together Again", he wanted to reincarnate because he felt like he missed on so much of his life due to the overwhelming nature of his grief.

Regression and the sometimes cyclical nature of the healing process has been a huge theme this season, it makes sense to me that Finn's attempts to keep on Living after Jake was less of One Singular Problem that was resolved by a True Love's Kiss...

And more of an ongoing process of ups and downs as Finn keeps on struggling to truly live that didn't resolve until 'Together Again'.

I dunno if I am just really really sad thinking about how at the end of the day, Finn, despite his exciting lifestyle and cheerful demeanor, did end up losing so many years that could've been joyous to his depression...

Or if I should simply appreciate that despite it all, with the help of Fionna and Huntress Wizard, there were still times where Finn got to once again be really alive.

for a short while in the fandom, there was a loud group of people who were so, SO sure that hunter was explicitly a binary trans man, and would harrass anybody with different hcs (nonbinary, butch, ect)... and then hunter got revealed to have canon they/them pronouns

i feel like it would suck massively if the same thing happened with fern, and i don't care which interpretation you might be hellbent on thinking is "the guaranteed correct one", because you don't KNOW!!!
