- well-adapted to the city due to this hunting strategy! tall buildings mimic cliffs they would historically use to hunt from. + there is an abundance of food: pigeons, gulls etc.

- OFFICIAL BIRD of Chicago and have a really amazing recovery story in the city & state! they were extirpated from Illinois until 1986, when they were reintroduced to the city. they were taken off of the Illinois Endangered Species list in 2014 and there are multiple active monitoring projects in the city! The logo could incorporate a falcon diving in flight! You can't tell me that doesn't scream speed, strength, agility, etc.
