Today is my 3 years on T. Doing the classic face comparison.
November 1, 2016: A few minutes after doing my first shot. 19 years old.
November 1, 2017: 1 year on T. 20 years old. I was trying so hard to grow facial hair lol.
November 1, 2018: 2 years on T. 21 years old. I’d really let my beard go crazy for the first time.
November 1, 2019: 3 years on T. 22 years old. I didn’t realize how much my beard has filled out this past year. My mustache is actually visible in photos now.
Honestly I forgot it was my anniversary date. I don’t think about being trans much anymore. I’m very thankful to say that. I didn’t think I would ever reach this point, but I’m so happy and thankful that I have. To anyone who reads this who is just starting your transition, or is feeling stuck or discouraged about their progress, don’t give up. You’ll get to a point of contentment, it just takes a little time.
I’m also a year and 4ish months post op top surgery. What little scarring I have hasnt changed much since my 1 year post op date.
A lot has happened this past year. I graduated from college. Got accepted into a master’s program. Moved to a different state. Started riding a bike again. Started dating again (a lame attempt lol). Created some cool art. Went swimming in the pacific ocean for the first time in over a decade. Many more things that I just can’t remember right now. It’s been an eventful year to say the least. I’m happy with my life, overall. I closed a significant chapter this year and began a new one. I’m living completely stealth in my new city and it’s really nice. I don’t have that looming thought in the back of my mind about if one of my friends is thinking about me in a weird or intrusive way. I’m just more relaxed. I think it helps being in a bigger city too because people seem to give less of a fuck about what other people are doing. Anyways, here’s to another year of development!
4 years on T baby
I’m 1 year and 7 months on T. This is my last monthly milestone pre-op!! Top surgery in 16 days until top surgery!
I have been using minoxidil off and on since April-ish. I used for about one month straight somewhere between April and May. I’ve not been using it this week because I have been getting hot and sweaty at my job in the mornings and having the minoxidil on my face makes me feel gross. I’ll be using it when I’m post op though!
4 years on T. Completely forgot about my anniversary. Here’s a nice beard comparison. It sure has come a long way in the past 2 and a half years! I’ve also been growing my hair for a year and a half just for fun

This is my chest 1 month post op (top) versus 7 months post op (bottom).
I had peri-areolar (keyhole) with Dr. Daniel Medalie in Cleveland, Ohio on June 18, 2018.
For anyone interested in what fitness program I follow, I do a upper/lower strength/hyper split. I do upper and lower strength workouts that consist of less reps and higher weight, and uppper and lower hypertrophy workouts that consist of higher reps and lower weight. I center my excercises around squats, deadlifts, and bench press. I go to the gym 4 days a week for strength training and usually do cardio 1-3 times per week, just running on a treadmill.
I’m now (roughly) 1 year and 8 months. Flexing my lats on the left, relaxed on the right.
It’s my second semester of graduate school and I’ve been horribly inconsistent with going to the gym since September of last year. I’m trying to get back in the gym this year. I’ve been going once or twice per week, which is the most I can reasonably do with my class schedule. I had a minor back injury during the summer that bugs me when I do lets so I’m not training legs very much now. I’m doing a push/pull split but just upper body and one leg exercise (no squatting or deadlifting).
I don’t have any special eating habits or track my macros/calories. I try to eat pretty heathily and cook my own foods. I don’t eat meat very much anymore since I now live in a place with more veg options in grocery stores.
I’m 2 years post op! My anniversary was actually a few weeks ago but I forgot. I don’t think about being trans much anymore, thankfully.
I did Athleanx’s 22-day push-up challenge a few weeks ago, but haven’t been working out otherwise because of covid-19. I’m feeling more comfortable in my skin having spent so much time in isolation and not worrying about how other people are perceiving me.
The only decent way to use white privilege
Edit: this is the first time anything I have posted has reached over 10k notes and I cannot be happier that this is the post that is getting attention.
Edit 2: now over 20,000!!!!! Keep it going - being a Karen could literally save someone's life one day
Edit 3: OVER 50,000 - keep sharing this!!!!
Disclaimer: I am not the person who did this, I'm simply sharing the screenshots to spread awareness. I am a white person and I do want to be an ally in as many ways as possible so please share as many ways as possible that both I and other white people can do this

I’ve been meaning to post this…
My doctor gave me a few packets of information before she gave me my prescription for T. This chart was included in the info. This could be useful for other trans people who are going on Testosterone.
Give Us Roses While We’re Still Here Transgender Day of Remembrance // Nov. 20th
This is just a poster I made the other day. I love all of my trans family, and I hope you take the day for remembrance & self care.
