Another day....of art and Hell.

I mean... i deleted that shit....

Then I wrote better stuff... frankly that's honestly the majority of my process so...

Thinking about making weird beats now but don't have anything specific in mind yet...

Also kinda wanna write a completely new bass line. Not sure why just wanna see if I make something different if the feel etc changes giving some new ideas. But anyway minor update overall. It sounds how I want though.

I want to write some new backing melodies to fit into that kind of empty space the hollow sound will create. However at the moment the song is really short especially since I slightly upped the tempo because I want it to have a down tempo club track feel.

But it felt a little too slow to me.

So here we are, I'm likely going to extend the track some and add in some new parts as I do. Giving it more time to be dancey dance and more time for me to write in more complex stuff for backing sounds while keeping the simplistic club feel in the more lead sections.

I tend to make weirdly complex tracks doing experimental noise soundscapes.

But let's be real for a moment.

1.) Experimental Noise is an extremely niche audience.

2.) Experimental Noise is frankly not very good to dance to.

I love experimental music and I love harsh elektro tones. I also love dancing though. So while most of my songs I've fucked around with over the years have been more about harsh noise, I also want\need to get a bit more serious about finishing my album or it's never gonna fucking happen.

So the next 2 or 3 tracks I'm focusing on will likely be new tracks focused more on the club dance\down tempo or maybe even some aggrotech from the early 2ks influence.

I'll get back to bringing old songs up to speed and fixing the mistakes I made in their early production later.

Believe it or not it's way easier for me to write a completely new song now than it is to take those old songs I made weird mistakes creating sounds and bring their production up to better standards.

I was teaching myself to use the software and was experimenting a lot with weird layering and effects but I didn't organize my shit like I do now. So trying to find where I did what is nearly impossible since it's mostly chaos with everything done at complete random. I managed to create some amazing sounds but my lack of organization makes it impossible to remotely understand wtf I did lol.

It's only a shame because some specific sounds I really wish I knew wtf I did because they sound cool as fuck however after years have passed and me paying zero attention to what alterations I made. I'm fucking clueless. At the least I can open the files up and one at a time check every single setting but that's a lot of sounds from lot of songs and who really has the fucking time?

A couple of days ago it was such a raging dumpster fire of confusing loops that didn't flow together at all.

Now that shit sounds all cleaned up with the basic synths and balancing.

Even got some structure forming.

Yeah... I mean... I didn't work on the drums at all in the slightest even though that's what I said I was gonna do but...

*gestures at clean sounds and structure*

So I dumped the older versions because it's coming together pretty quickly. Need to work on the drum sounds and write some beats that are actually designed around the music.

Still a lot to create before it's legit needs backing stuff and have to make some kind of breakdown points etc to break the loop.

But I think it'll end up being a track I dig a lot.

So this is what I threw together today based off what I recorded yesterday I think... of the new synths I programmed. Typically what I do is exactly that throw random shit together and play until one of the things catches my attention. Then I rip the track apart and start all over based around whatever aspect I happened to like.

Then I usually start cleaning some sounds up add some backing melody. Improve them drum sounds and write some new beats.

Then I obsessively listen to it until I hear something in my head that goes with it. After I figure out how to make a sound that resembles what I imagined I basically remove parts of the existing repetitive song and replace with the new stuff and see if it actually sounds good.

Then I just keep doing that while cleaning it up and doing some more technical stuff that improves the sound etc. At least until it feels close to finished.

At this point frankly it's going to change a ton. Not sure how or towards what kind of sound but it will just be wildly different with some parts and aspects that resemble how it is currently.

Been a while... it's not even remotely a song yet. Just testing out a couple synth sounds I made and wrote a few riffs while playing along to one.

Definitely going to use that lead and the stuff I wrote with it.

Need more stuff for harmony and more patterns to build around.

Need some better drums too oof...

Whatevs though basic concept has begun so need to make more and rearrange it all over the place to make some structure then I'll get more ideas.

Well it's getting close but the whole ending vibe just... ugh it just sounded so good to me...

So now I need to kinda give the middle part the same kind of feel...

So it resembles a song a little maybe...

It might sound awesome, or... you might be some random who's never run across me before and you're bored so you crank that shit on your sweet system and it sounds like someone with rusty metal for an ass shitting their pants as you blow all your bass enhancing equipment all at once thanks to the random rivethead goth dipshit on Tumblr.

I mean hopefully not, that's a shitty yet exciting way to be introduced to my madness.

You humans lie directly to yourselves ignoring obvious truths simply to avoid having to think about things that make you uncomfortable.

To some degree i can totally understand why people initially don't notice. Mostly it's due to indoctrination. It causes such intense cognitive dissonance you'd rather just lie to yourself than grow mentally or emotionally.

I used to feel bad for people mentally trapped like that.

At this point I simply don't care what you do.
