Math rock/Emo/Midwest Emo band from Norwich, United Kingdom. Quite a nice band may I say. Their music is melodious, calming, melancholy and all around pleasant to listen to.
I really recommend giving their 2008-09 recordings a listen. On YouTube, they're seperated into various singles but they're all there to listen to. On their website is where you see them categorize all these songs as 2008-09 recordings. Which, unrelated but related, check out their website, all their information and even mp3 downloads are on there!
All the songs on their 08-09 recordings are great.
Open Closed Open on their 2008-2009 recordings hits so beautifully for me. Especially one of the opening guitar sounds (at least I think it's the guitar). The vocals at around 1:30 are beautiful.
The intro to Pilot Holes is quite nice. Nice song overall. The outro was a bit unexpected.
Does Not Want has a part at 0:50 that is quite euphonious. That bass sounds so pleasant alongside the other instruments.
I couldn't see someone not liking these songs. They're so pleasant to listen to. At the very least, I could imagine someone being neutral, but someone showing distaste towards them? I couldn't imagine it.
When I saw that one of the members, Henry Tremain (guitar/vocals) was the vocalist of TTNG (Hank) it all made sense. Of course he's in both of these two melodically wonderful bands. No wonder I enjoy the both of them!
They're touring with Algernon Cadwallader in the UK. FAWK. I wish so deeply that I could go. What a shame. Those two bands performing at the same show... perfect.
