I miss the water. the bay, the ocean waves licking my keel. I miss the wind whispering in my sails as they flutter unseen and in the darkening skies. taking me somewhere I've never seen. air I have never breathed into my lungs. air and wind I would never breath if I wasn't gliding along on the water surface tension of the deep blue ocean. oh yes, I miss so many things. sailing is close to number one. When the ocean calls it is hard not to go.

Especially now that I deal with the end of life. Now when things on the bucket list are probably gonna remain just that, things on the bucket list. Things that I have only dreamed about In my life. things I can no longer do.

I don't feel like I'm dying. but I certainly am. four out of five doctors agree. Hospice is reaching out for comfort as the threshold approaches. What is it going to feel like? How will I experience it? The medicine that they were giving me Was destroying my liver. It became A thing where it was more damaging to take the medicine than it is to not take the medicine and let the cancer run its course. Because question not, the cancer is going to run its course. And now that I have stopped treatment what should I be doing To try and hold off the cancer for as long as I can Anyway?
