âyoung adult dystopian novels are so unrealistic lmao like they always have some random teenage girl rising up to inspire the world to make change.â
a hero emergesÂ
And just like in the novels, grown men and women are going out of their way to destroy her. Support our hero.
And itâs not even like it doesnât happen regularly. Â
Teenage girls are amazing.
Sometimes theyâre not even teenagers

Very yes.
BILL NYE canât stress the importance of Climate Change enough
Mothers in the MCU â¤ď¸ She is beautiful, softened at the edges, and tempered with a spin of steel.
The reason Harry never truly grasps the depth of Ronâs insecurity about being least loved until witnessing the destruction of the horcrux is because Ron has been Harryâs most loved since the day they met.
Iâm fine this is fine

Avengers Endgame (2019)
Reblog if youâre a girl and are a big Marvel fan!!
Trying to prove a pointâŚ
tony stark gaining nebulaâs trust, playing games in space with her, working with her, being completely open with her, giving her space to grow as a person and her developing genuine trust with someone, an actual friendship, an unbreakable bond that led her the rest of the movie, tony did that.
he gave her last piece of food they had, completely unselfish act, and her giving it back because he needed it more, tony did that.
nebula opening up to the team, becoming trustworthy and equal, not falling back into her old ways, never trusting or falling under thanosâ abusive influence and desire to make him proud, tony did that.
after years of physical and mental abuse beyond imaginable, he was the person that made her trust someone beside gamora. he led her to believe humans can be worthy companions, friends, family. by playing silly games while stranded in space he showed her she is much more than a weapon and that others can see that.Â
Honestly Thorâs excited little âIâm still worthy!!â When he was able to summon mjolnir in Asgard made me so happy and it truly spoke volumes about his depression and lack of self-worth he felt after they all lost in iw because he thought he was the only reason they lost

thank you natasha for being the only female representation we had in avengers for such a long time
thank you natasha for showing us we donât need actual powers to be superheroes
thank you for still being a great character even though the production of the movies always tried to sexualize you and pass the image that you were nothing more, always making you flirt with all the male characters. but we know youâre way more
natasha romanoff was pretty much the first female superhero i ever saw in a movie and this will always mean a lot
now we have carol, we have wanda, we have gamora, we have valkyrie, we have nebula but there was a time we only had natasha romanoff
One of the Weirdest Lessons Iâve Learned...
⌠is that itâs okay to use the things you bought.
Those crafting supplies youâre hoarding, USE THEM. MAKE SOMETHING! Itâs okay if you mess up, the joy is in the creating.
That fruit you bought cuz itâs your fav and now youâre saving cuz itâs special? EAT IT. ENJOY IT. YOU DESERVE IT.
Box of paints thatâs so beautiful all untouched⌠OPEN IT. PAINT SOMETHING.
For me thereâs two factors that go into this.
Coming out of scarcity, itâs hard to buy a thing and use it up. What if thereâs no more? What if thatâs the only chance you get? I canât promise even myself that wonât be the case. It might happen. Or something could happen to me and I wonât be able to use my craft mountain. You just gotta do it.
Believing Iâm worth it. This one is harder. Years of abuse starting from the religious brainwashing of my childhood on through emotionally and physically abusive relationships as an adult have taken their toll on my self worth. Therapy and witchcraft have helped reclaim so much of that. But some scars are always gonna be there. And at times itâs hard to convince myself that I am worth having nice yarn, or nice fabric, or nice paints. That I am worth using the paper to draw and make mistakes because even though Iâm not a great artist, it brings me joy.
Not everything I make has to be the equivalent of the Sistine Chapel. It doesnât even have to be instagram worthy. It can just bring me some joy for the little while I was creating it, and Iâm good enough for that.
That one thing youâre hoarding? You know the one. Use it. And then Iâd love if you told me about it. You donât gotta share pictures if you donât want to, Iâd just love to hear about it.
One quick addendum! Itâs okay to use stuff you bought for one project on another project. Bought stuff for a quilt youâre never gonna make? I bet it would make a cute table runner! That yarn was for a sweater for your ex? More like itâs for scarves for your little cousins! Your materials donât have to go to waste just because the initial plan fell through.
This is an excellent point!
Madamehearthwitch and I seem to have a bit of the same history. I feel this so much. Therapy has really helped me in this, especially for your second point of being worth it.
So Iâd like to add my point three: it doesnât have to be perfect. Itâs still one of my downfalls. Oh but what if I use these pretty sparkly paints and the end result wonât be pretty? Well, thatâs okay. You still made something. It was an act of creation and that in and of itself is already amazing! Maybe you learned from it and can do better next time. Maybe you didnât, but, guess what? You still made something and took time to do something that you love. Just for yourself. And that is already perfect.
