If someone creates the exact fan content you want, you're lucky and should support them. Especially if you want more of that good stuff. I'm not saying you are obligated to do so at gun point, I'm just saying it's probably a good idea.

If no one creates the exact fan content you want, you didn't get lucky. This is far more likely to happen in smaller fandoms.

Then you have the following options: either make that content yourself, commission someone or be very nice to your creator friends. Which - as apparently needs to be said - also means supporting them, NOT treating them as content farms and NOT using your relationship with them to pressure them.

In general you should always aim to inspire, not convince/convert.

Now, this is going to be crazy news for all the entitled folks in fandom, but the person who does all the work does in fact get the final say. On their art, their writing, their other content, the spaces they run, the events they organize.

Can you disagree with them or have issues with the way they do things? Yes. Is it completely fair to stay away in that case? Absolutely. Do you get to call people names because they are not catering their fan projects to you? No, you don't. You need to learn some fucking manners, actually.

What if the narrative around Krane being in love with Lily was a lie/misunderstanding. What if people thought so because Krane and Lily were just super close friends for all these years, with maybe something going on on his side in the past, but said something either fizzled out or got addressed and worked through. What if the truth is that Krane fell in love not with Lily but the man she brought to the lab one day - a man who, underneath his stoic facade, is so very kind and sweet. What if Krane couldn't resist either the fact that this man is also amazingly strong and skilled in battle or that he's in desperate need of saving or both? What if Krane continued his purification research because he wanted to save more than just the Pokémon Cipher was abusing, to smash the entire organization time and time again until that poor, sweet man could finally claw his way out of the nightmare, to freedom. What if Krane felt this all in secret and hid it well because he didn't want to hurt either his best friend or the man he loved.

What if Krane loved Eldes all along, possibly while going through years of not knowing if he was still alive after contact was cut due to the threat of Cipher rising again. And what if Krane continued to love Eldes and have faith in him, despite him reemerging as a Cipher Admin.

Let's dedicate a week and a half to any Orre pairs out there.
