Occasionally remember that Magicians season 5 had a body swap AND a time loop, two tropes of all time, but they were in the midst of... all of that season 5 shit. Hard to articulate how the showrunners would give us fan-favourite things in the most hostile and spiteful way possible without sounding crazy but they really did that. what surprised you about their voices?

Sam Reid is like. Two octaves deeper and a great deal throatier than I ever would have imagined! I think that voice would surprise me on anyone who wasn't like a 6'8" Highland Games type or a middle-aged opera singer, it's very unusual!

Jacob Anderson was a loooooooot softer & airier than I imagined, but as the episode goes on it's become clear that's a Present-Day Louis affectation and not his actual voice lmao, it's making more sense now that I've heard him in the show's other context

Finally finally watching IWTV and neither Jacob Anderson nor Sam Reid sounds even a little bit like I imagined their voices. Eric Bogosian, otoh, sounds EXACTLY like he did in my head
