Boss: "Sorry, did I not send you this template? Here it is, sorry under pressure this week, may be snappy."

Me: "No worries, will get that sorted and out to people" Sends plan and email later that afternoon

Boss: ** proceeds to email me a bollocking for sending the plan, for not letting her see it first and working in isolation (having been waiting on multiple people to look over the bloody thing) complaining how long things have taken, accuses me of underselling the project **

Boss conveniently forgetting the delays have been caused by her and multiple other colleagues ripping the project apart, that one part of my previous message had been totally ignored by someone else and that she hates this project and has ripped it apart so much that she has zero faith in it.

But yes, all my fault that things have been super delayed, you put time pressure on me, I'm finding my feet in a new team and have literally been thrown in at the deep end to find my footing. Absolutely fine.

Currently chuckling a certain "publicity hating" prince has said he was bullied as a kid when I know he bullied and was an absolute prick to other school kids on a school exchange (my friend went to a school which did day swaps with Eton, her brother had nothing positive to say about his experience with said prince - lots of making fun of the "poor" kids).

God the new department I'm in is so sheltered. They had no idea some of the shit we've been dealing with FOR YEARS and were horrified at the behaviour we told them about today. This is why I will always advocate for making an effort with your coworkers. These lot had no idea if you just ask people they might tell you things. Wild.

Also I would very much rather talk work drama than myself and this is my pro tip for defense because what do you actually know about me other than I will keep you up to date on other work dramas.
