We should have, like ⦠an event or a tag or something inspired by Magnusās first duck carving where weāre encouraged to post art (visual, writing, handicrafts, music, whatever) that weāre nervous and uncertain about and then other people come in and say nice things about it.
Itās been almost a year since Magnusās First Duck and I think thatās a great time to make this idea a reality.
So by the power vested in my by my own defiant self-confidence, Iām declaring June 1st-7th, this year and every year that follows to be Duck Days!
For the first week of June, this blog will be reblogging any post tagged with #duckdays2018!Ā
Thereās two ways to celebrate this event! One is by making and/or posting content youāre uncertain about. Art, writing, music, craft, cooking, programming, anything at all! Itās a great time to try something new or show off something youāve been working on.
If you donāt have anything you want to post (and even if you do) the second way to celebrate it is even more important: reblog, reply or comment on the work and tell the creator what you like about it!Ā
If youāre not in the TAZ fandom, donāt let that stop you from participating! Itās inspired by TAZ, but appreciating and sharing amateur work is something anyone can enjoy. Letās spread positivity, celebrate amateurs, celebrate learning and growing and punch ācringe cultureā in the face!
