Here is a concept design for one of my oriental D&D characters! Below is a little bit about his background. Chen Wu Long (5th Dragon) is a Human Barbarian. A descendant of The Shou from the east, Wu Long is the youngest of five brothers of the Chen Clan. Growing up in nomadic tribe that has been travelling for generations looking to expand their tribe, the clan got wiped out when they were betrayed by their fourth brother, Shi Long. Now Wu Long is out to avenge his tribe by searching for Shi Long and deliver a painful end.

This is Alice (Michaela Kurimsky) from the short film by Yeah!Films called 'Blind Arcade'. Watch it HERE. Only a few pieces of references were provided of the subject so I had to reconstruct her face in a different angle and pose her in a way that the book (The Tempest) she is holding can be included as well. I also tried applying the aspects of chiaroscuro to the portrait. I loved working on this piece because of the creative freedom I was given. Very glad with the result!

Both of the best thing in my life into a single work. I am a huge fan of both Dishonored (Video Game) and Avatar : The Last Airbender (Cartoon Series) so painting this is a huge thrill for me. Also when is a better time to post this than while waiting for Dishonored 2 to come out! So if you don't know what I am talking about, go ahead and check both of these 2 gems out! I started this piece on January of 2015 and I've wanted to finish it ever since but I must say, this piece un-resized is 14000 x 8000 pixels huge! and painting this was a pain and it is draining my patience on every single brush-stroke! A portrait for the lovely and amazing Emma . Painted this on and for her birthday. Enjoy! Watch the painting process here! This took me roughly 5 hours from start to finish, in one sitting (Due to the recording). I've used the digital techniques demonstrated by the illustrator, Lake Hurwitz which is inspired by the godly works of Nick Alm and his traditional works. Fell free to check them out!
