4. open floor variety show where:

- a goofy lip sync performance of the pink pony club was done with costumes and, of course, a fake horse, wearing a tutu, and a head that kept falling off

- a 92 year old played songs on the piano from the sound of music while everyone sang along

- a child sang the ABC's to raucous applause

- some 20 somethings did a color guard flag + cheer mini routine...with a healthy amount of mistakes and laughter

- a woman read a poem she wrote for the occasion, capturing the somewhere else feeling of the event among the horrors of today

- a very theater kid performed a monologue from Percy Jackson with the very sweet support of one of the 20-somethings

- and of course.......a TWELVE year old sang CASUAL by Chapelle Roan very loudly and unabashedly while every adult in the crowd tried so hard to hide their embarrassment to not make the literal child embarrassed for singing a really raunchy song in front of everyone.....this poor lil gay trans guy is going to have a flashback to this moment and the true meaning of "knee deep in the passenger seat" will come over him and he will die from embarrassment....but until then applause and support were given 😅
