I love the idea in your pack bond story of poor quinn trying to hide his emotions. Using your leaky pipe idea, I keep imagining him trying to shove his emotions away from the wild bond and accidently causing them to spill over to the devils and vice versa. Those poor teams are gonna need a group to nudge each other in warning when quinn goes silent on one bond and loud in the other as he tries to figure out how to keep to himself without flooding either bond

In the barred doors universe, would quinn feel safe when playing against the devils? Im guessing jack and Luke would have issues if their team picked quinn, so would those games be a time of relief and peace for him do you think? Or the dread when someone picks him anyway and then having to face his brothers after?
I'm going to say yes, he would be safe bc you do not want to shoot yourself in the foot and pick someone that's going to upset someone in your own team. and choosing someone's brother is absolutely a way of doing that. so quinn's team(s) don't pick jack or luke, and mutually, devils don't pick quinn
I'm so nosy and after seeing that quinn is still in nj, I'm dying to know who he's sharing apartments with, is he sticking with jack (his would probably be cleaner), does he stick with luke because jack probably has a much more involved social life or does he just go in whatever apartment based on his mood and who's being less annoying since it's down the hall from e/o lmao

I feel like we could potentially look a little more into the place scene where he had to tell Quinn to stop digging his fingers into his thigh.
I feel like that's something the rest of them wouldn't tolerate well either once they can get a better read off Quinn and the bonds are fully healthy again.
And I feel like Quinn could be the kind of person who used physical pain to kinda keep himself attached to the now and stop himself from spiraling.
Like whenever he gets anxious he starts pinching, or scratching or picking at himself, even absent mindedly and they have to slide in and stop it or distract him.
And if that doesn't work then they have to tell Jared and he stops it.
Next, the scene where Ethan is looking at the pack bond mark and pressing on it and Jared and Quinn are both uncomfortable with it.
You mentioned Brock trying to get a better read off Quinn earlier by touching the back of his neck.
Is the pack bond mark only really supposed to be touched by the one who made it? Or is it kind of just pack should touch it?
Because once again going back to Quinn having some Issues even after the bonds are healthy - like could any of them be able to stroke over it and soothe him when he gets all anxious about something or maybe even biting it a little and it's not enough to break skin but it kind of restimulates and settles the bond.
Finally - the scene Quinn really starts to go downhill and there's a line about the rest of the wild guys watching Quinn's body slowly give up on him.
*screams*
Can you imagine? There's nothing wrong with the mark, and they keep checking because they've got to think there's something wrong there, and they can barely feel him, and now he's just visibly fucking dying.
And sure maybe they didn't know that at the time but I would think after Jared taking him to Ethan, and feeling all the stuff Jared felt, and finally getting a better grasp of Quinn's side of the bonds, that it would be obvious that something very very terrible almost happened.
And they just watched it happen.
Like, the guilt potential here is crazy. And the protectiveness and potential possessiveness once they get more details. They almost lost Quinn without even knowing it, he's probably going to take a little bit to be back at 100%, they finally have his bond feeling normal, and now they're supposed to share?
And they're not mad or upset at Quinn but I think feeling a little territorial wouldn't be out of the question.
Especially since now he's probably going to be more receptive to their affection. Like letting Matt successfully himself against his back and maybe grab Kirill's hand back if he grabs Quinn's knee again or let Brock touch his neck and more or whatever else anyone else wants to do.
I was also thinking there's of course just the general hardship of Quinn figuring out how to handle two bonds and not letting things he doesn't want to go out go out - but he just doesn't seem to have a lot of experience with that anyway.
So I picture him having a learning curve even if it was just the wild.
Maybe he thinks he picks it up quick and has got it all under control. Tells them all that and is so pleased that they don't have the heart to tell him they can still pick up a lot from him.
Besides, having a little insite into Quinn, even if it might be a little sneaky 👀, is very helpful.
And they like being able to feel when he's happy.

i have quinn use physical pinches etc as redirects for this thoughts/emotions. hard to keep shit hidden in a pack, so a sharp little ow moment usually stops the spiralling. but once jared notices it the first time he absolutely keeps an eye on it, and so do the rest of the guys for sureee. most of them use it as an excuse to hold his hand and get some physical touch in LOL
pack bite is really only for the pack to touch. like jared doesn't get antsy if brock is the one touching it, but ethan's a different story because he's an outsider who isn't involved directly in the pack, so he definitely gets jared feeling a little.... uh... territorial i guess i can say ! the biting is really only for pack leader (ie jared), like if brock was to put his teeth there without approval it's kinda a challenge. but most of the guys absolutely love putting their hand there and it settles things down for sure !
and ohhh yeah absolutely they're feeling very unsettled by the entire thing. because quinn's body has kind of, essentially, smothered down his connection/bonds with the wild so that it could prepare + make room for the devils pack. and ohhh that definitely makes them feel a little weird, because no one's really ever had to... share someone in their pack before. quinn is well aware of this, and is also a little disconcerted by it all, so he is absolutely more receptive to physical affection. he wants the guys to still be sure of him, he still wants to be with the wild 100%, so he absolutely does his best to make up for the fact that the bonds are a bit more dull than they should be for a while.
i think the wild would absolutely respect his privacy in a sense like... they know he doesn't want these emotions/feelings getting out as much as they do, so they kinda put up their own walls. make themselves stand in more shallow water so that quinn is free to splash around and make a mess of things, and they hope that once it all settles, he's more open with them than he used to be. but yeah they absolutely learn the shapes of quinn's emotions and it's so much easier to find those threads once they know what they feel like, so they really get familiar with quinn and learn to read his emotions soooo much quicker too. and quinn's a lot more open with the wild because he, like, knows the guys a lot more. he's absolutely more focused on closing up the leaks with the devils; he doesn't mind nico/luke/jack, but the rest of them... takes him a while to get familiar and comfortable if he ever does really!!
