I just stood up for like 5 minutes why does it hurt so much.
I miss when ads were a single click and then they’re gone. Now every ad has a minimum of three phases where you watch a video, exit the still frame of fake gameplay, and then exit the app download. That doesn’t even touch on the ones that forcibly take you to another app after opening a tab in safari without you ever touching the screen.
I hate advertising. I hate that you can’t do anything without companies jumping down your throat with mostly bullshit ads. I hate that billboards exist. I hate that every company unanimously decided to make their ads longer and longer. I hate that ad blockers try to charge you money and there are in app purchases to remove ads. I hate that my attention has become commodified. I hate that there’s nothing I can do about it.

I don’t want my art to be part of this video and I didn’t give permission for it to be on the thumbnail. I am not affiliated with this creator. It makes me kind of uncomfortable that they’d include me here on a creator exposè when it has nothing to do with me?
especially when the original video they are boosting has its own thumbnail without my art. It gives a message that my work is supposed to elicit disgust and shock as clickbait when I made it as a gift for someone who requested it
I don’t want anyone to cause trouble for them and I’m really just too tired to pursue them to edit it out, so we’ll just leave it here. I’d really rather not be harassed for asking to be left out of the thumbnail. Given that you say they’re anti-darkship, I don’t think I’d be received respectfully by their community or by them.

yes yes yesss oh my stars. i was thinking about this not too long ago and specifically w the songs White Ball and Time Machine by Miracle Musical,,,,
Time Machine is an easy one cuz its very straightforward: its about wishing you could have a time machine to undo the mistakes of the past. Which fits a lot with Dream's notion that no matter what they want, things in the multiverse and with his brother will never be the same as they used to be
White Ball, however, is specifically about constructing a world in your mind where none of the bad stuff happened, living together in literal impossible bliss with the protag's lover. It is a beautiful and lovely song that becomes a lot sadder with the rest of the context of the album, which is about the lover being murdered and the protag spiraling into madness.
And !! Since we do dreammare here !! And there was the thing I mentioned the other day of the idea of Dream being with Nightmare in hopes that the love and kindness they show him can bring back passive Nightmare somehow !! You could take that as them imagining a world where his love does bring passive Nightmare back, and where they can be together and be happy and everything's okay, and to just get lost in the fantasy of it all when in reality things will never revert and passive Nightmare will never come back and Dream will have to live knowing about the actions they and their brother have made and the consequences and that they can never move on and need to move forward. Except they won't move forward because they won't abandon the hope that one day he can bring passive Nightmare back somehow
