I think it would be really hard to explain swanqueen to someone who's never seen once upon a time. Did the dark ones curse give him beach waves, or did Regina's curse give him a Brazilian blowout?
I've currently watched episodes 1-12 of season 1 of OUAT and I need to collect my thots.
So David is cheating on his wife WITH his wife? I'm assuming the reason he can't bring himself to leave Katherine is Regina's curse. (It better be anyways)
Regina is an ass, I wanted to like her so bad but she just has like no redeeming qualities she better have one hell of a backstory.
The constant SA of Graham is honestly why I can't bring myself to like Regina. She was just so horrible to him, poor guy deserved so much better RIP Graham
Rumpelstiltskin is definitly the most interesting character (I knew I chose my favorite wisely) I'm assuming he started remembering his past life when he heard Emma's name? Or has the chipped teacup always been a trigger of something for him, because "true love breaks all curses"?
He's also an asshole, but in a charming way I don't know how to explain it. After getting some snippets of his backstory the fact that the first thing he asked Regina for was to be happy is actually really fucking sad bro, he's out here bringing me to tears. He then went on to be a materialistic little fuck but then he wouldn't be Rumpelstiltskin, would he?
I don't really care for the Cinderella thread.
Ruby is fun I really like her character, I hope there's an episode centered on her at some point.
Now our main characters Emma and Henry. I like Emma she's a slightly older fantasy heroine which is nice. She's lived quite a bit of life and has a very no nonsense way of looking at things. Henry is interesting I can't figure out if he's immune to the curse because he's Emma's child or because he's not from storybrooke?
I also wonder if Rumpel was trying to steal a child on a mission from the Queen because he's the one who got her Henry and all of the storybrooke happenings mirror the past? Or maybe he just likes kidnapping for kicks idk
I've definitely yapped for too long but my last character is Sidney Glass I love his backstory actually. The idea that even wishing the genie free comes with a price was honestly one of my favorite concepts so far. Also despite SEEING him in the mirror I didn't recognize him in storybrooke so him turning into the magic mirror was a total shock to me lmao.
The weaving of a bunch of Disney films together is very impressive so far and well done, but I have a feeling the quality will drop eventually.
So that's where i'm at! I will definitely continue to post about my thots because I'm annoying like that <3
I think the best part of Rumpels back story is you get to meet the prior dark one, and he was lowkey normal so rumpel is just like that for the love of the game
