Thinking about how Pink is extremely intelligent and wanted to go to college but couldn't cover all the expenses and it's all canon. I know he thinks about the life he could have had. I know he dreams about it. He hates his life as a criminal but thinks it's too late and dangerous to change and have a normal life now. It kills him when he thinks about how much he hates his own profession because he's smart enough to understand it's wrong but he's too dependent on Joe's protection that he can't let go. He never wanted this, his parents forced him into it and now he's stuck in this life plagued by the fact he would have been extremely succesful in college and whatever career would have followed it. The thought of this makes him depressed.
