@bongzillababe in some places this is absolutely an invasive species but in this case it's actually a keystone species and ecosystem engineer! Here we can see it built its nest in the disturbed 'parking lot' habitat. These big species only have one clutch a year, between June and September, and build a new nest each time. The young fledge quickly and can even start building their own 'practice' nests within months! The nest sites attract other important species. Some can even have mutualistic relationships while the nest is still in use (ex. the more elusive large-bodied cement truck). By the fall, the nest will be entirely unrecognizable and will actually be classified as a city park/ multi-use accessible trail habitat instead.

Lately, we have been posting some exciting queer stories, and the response has been massive! You made it clear that you needed to hear some good queer news to balance out all the chaos in the media. So we are making a space for these stories!

Starting in May, we are going to release a compiled list of good queer news for our patrons on the 20th of every month!

We will still be sharing the stories individually on social media when we find them, but the compiled lists will be for paid patrons only.

1. The Canadian traveling cast is so amazingly talented, Eurydice's voice was so powerful but it was Hermes who stole the show. So freaking charismatic and charming and TALENTED. Also he called Orpheus "baby" when encouraging him to sing and I cried.

3. The band deserves every award, on stage, each member playing multiple instruments, and getting up and dancing while playing!?

4. The drummer 😭🤣 I dont know if it was just because the stage was small but he was the only member stuck behind the set. He came out to bow (in full costume) though.

5. The Fates harmonies, in a concert venue, were actual magic.

6. The set was so well designed!

I'm stuck on the name. The best I've got is The Algae, the Fungi, and the Holy Lichen. It's due in 10 hours 😭🧪🦠🍄. Help.
