Happy St. Patrick’s Day!☘️It’s been a really long time since I’ve made homemade buttercream frosting and decorated cakes/cupcakes. I guess the last one would have been for mom’s birthday. I tried a new buttercream recipe. It’s mock Swiss meringue buttercream. It’s really smooth and not too buttery or too sweet. Of course this attempt at baking did not go off without a hitch but it all worked out. I’m honestly surprised the piping stays with the consistency of the frosting. It might be a keeper.

It’s got Tom and it’s one with humor 😊 Now to figure out getting a passport, how much money I would need and how to get over that pesky fear of flying. Deadpool & Wolverine Spoiler Free

My spoiler free take on Deadpool & Wolverine, even though it’s been spoiled for awhile. I thought this was the best of the 3 Deadpool movies. Probably helps that I like Wolverine. It was funny. The music was good. The references to things you probably know are well placed. Lots of familiar faces. There were insightful moments. Not sure young kids should see it. There’s some pretty crude humor and language in it as expected. Of course sometimes they don’t have a clue about the meaning of what is on screen. Also, movie theater popcorn is great at 9 AM 😉
