can’t believe ragebait is pynch’s foreplay like

man i’m so grateful to the graphic novels, despite their flaws, for continuing to give us trc content. it’s honestly funny, like i’ve read the books. i know exactly what happens already. but the graphic novels make me so excited, like i'm reliving it for the first time. the grip these books have on me…reading the same story but this time i get to see my blorbos in colorful little squares? i’m SAT.

i know we all clown ronan and adam for being sexually insane and yearners about each other, but man we do not give gansey enough shit. what do you mean you wanted to eat the fruit from the bottom of blue's yogurt cup because it would mean you could put your mouth on the spoon blue's mouth and blue's spit had been on. and you could imagine it was like close to kissing her. what do you MEAN. fucking FREAK.

gotta say one of my favorite details about trc is how everyone, whether it's his friends or random strangers, constantly mentions how big of an asshole ronan is and how much they hate him. but they always gotta throw in that he is handsome. like they gotta let us know the boy is good looking, and that it makes everything worse. and honestly adam is guilty person #1 of this. from book one he yaps about how much he hates ronan and how ronan is cruelly handsome and how the worst part of being gansey's friend is tolerating his SAVAGELY handsome friend ronan. like ok thanks trc characters, i needed to know in the middle of your hating ronan monologue that he is also hot, i guess. thanks for making sure we know that detail. seems very necessary.

thought about how ronan is always described as wearing leather wristbands probably because they hide the scars on his wrist from his dream induced not-suicide (but like...suicidal) attempt. and :(

the dream thieves graphic novel ronan lynch sort of looks like a teletubby. no i will not elaborate.
