The premise alone had me by the throat, okay, and the reading experience is just me as that kermit hugging his phone meme but the version with a bunch of heart emojis lmao.

With this fic, it feels like... when you get a hug when you're sad and you feel warm in spite of that sadness still existing in you. I really don't know how to properly articulate this, but I guess I'm trying to say that this is the kind of fluff I can connect to and find comfort in on the days when pure fluff feels... unrealistic?
