Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan - ARC Review
Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan – ARC Review
… it took me a long time, but I figured it out. The difference between liking and loving, the difference between make believe and whats real, the difference between right now and please, please, let this last forever.
Well… TBH i hoped for a beautiful cute fluffy romance, but all I got was… more like a soap opera?!! It was way too dramatic.
The plot promised so many things! I was really looking…

BOOKS I Loved That NEED to Become MOVIES
BOOKS I Loved That NEED to Become MOVIES
Truthfully speaking I am terrified of book to movie adoptions, cause they never live up to my expectations and I always.. ALWAYS end up disappointed! For example, Bird Box, if you didn’t read the book, the movie will feel great. BUT if you did read the book (like me), you will notice so many changes!! So many little things that made the book a whooping 5 starread that the movie lacks.. it broke…

The East End by Jason Allen (Blog Tour-ARC Review)
THE EAST END opens with Corey Halpern, a Hamptons local from a broken home who breaks into mansions at night for kicks. He likes the rush and admittedly, the escapism. One night just before Memorial Day weekend, he breaks into the wrong home at the wrong time: the Sheffield estate where he and his mother work. Under the cover of darkness, their boss Leo Sheffield — billionaire CEO, patriarch,…

Hey guys!
How are you? I hope life is treating you good! For this Top Ten Tuesday I am going talk about books that I would like to keep me company in a rainy day!
Being a bookworm, rainy days are always like a heaven to me if I have no works to be done. I like to sit by my window or at my balcony, with a coffee mug and a book (maybe a good thriller?!) while my little budgies happily chirp away!
My Reading Nook
So.. Here are some books that I think would go perfectly with a rainy day:
Firstly I would share 5 books I’ve read and loved a little too much!!
#gallery-0-9 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } #gallery-0-9 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The Crow Girl
A psychological triller that deals with a serial killer, pedophiles and human trafficking.. A dark and very twisted story. The captivating story keeps rolling and keep the readers guessing and at edge.
You can check my review here. And if you are already convinced, to add it in your goodreads tbr, click here!
The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn
Another Psychological thriller with a unreliable narrator with agoraphobia. Trust me when I say this, nothing is what it seems like!
You can check my review here. And to add it in your goodreads tbr, click here!
When by Victoria Laurie
A story about a girl who can see peoples death date. After predicting a young boys death, he goes missing on the exact date causing the police to get involve and hence starts the a complicated race against time.
Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
I still remember to be shocked with the ending! I literally never saw it coming and it broke my heart. What I initially thought a normal regular YA featuring twin sisters and their only boy crush, turned out to be something more!
Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo
Six of crows duology is the best heist story ya’all!! And if you haven’t read it yet, read it ASAP!!!! Check my full review here!
Now here are the rest 5 books that I have on my TBR and I would like to dig in on a rainy day…
#gallery-0-10 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } #gallery-0-10 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The Burning by Laura Bates
Crushed by Kate Hamer
Sadie by Courtney Summers
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
Have you read any of them? What do you think? Would they be a great rainy day partner??!! Let me know in the comments!! And for you, here goes a little happy chirping!!
Thank you Jana @That Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this weekly meme! It was fun!!

Kingdom of Ash and Briars by Hannah West (Review Copy)
I am a huge fan of retellings. I loved The Restless Girls, Circe, Uprooted and I was so sure I would love Kingdom of Ash and Briars as well. I mean.. Look at the cover! Isn’t it gorgeous?!!! ❤
Now.. My take on Kingdom of Ash and Briars is a bit complicated. I mean, the book was fast pacing, we got a strong female lead and I loved the writing style. But yet after finishing, I am not satisfied. It…

About This Book
Lulu is the perfect character to introduce pre-schoolers to first experiences. Join her as she spends a fun day at the zoo and meets a whole host of noisy animals. With an accessible tone, warm and reassuring text and interactive flaps to lift on every page, Lulu at the Zoo is the perfect introduction to exciting visits out and about.
Popular, trusted and reassuring, the Lulu picture books make the perfect companion for inquisitive little minds.
now available in all good bookstores!
My Thoughts
The book has really beautiful illustrations… Colorful and simple ones that kept my 4yo hooked. I think what makes this book even more interesting is their flips. Toddles can open the flips of any page (there are multiple ones in a page) to find hidden clues, story parts written here and there!
This chapter book focuses on Lulu’s visit on a zoo.. We can see her excitement, her preparations and her expectations on the pages of this book.

I found it a very informative book and it has got just enough material to spark interest in a toddler. Like while reading my son learned who is a zoo-keeper, we talked and wondered about where other people of the bus are going, he even asked me where is the boy-toilet (note the page shows both boy and girl toilet and LULU is using the girl toilet, where did the boy toilet go human?!!! )?!!
Rating
5/5 Stars!!
*Say hello to my sons new favorite book!*
**Thank you Definitely Book, #pansing for the review copy! The thoughts are mine and mine only!**

Please Send Help (I Hate Everyone But You #2) by Gaby Dunn & Allison Raskin (ARC Review)
A Goldman never pays her debts but she does ruin her enemies with slander!
Please Send Help is the sequel of I Hate Everyone But You, which I did not know when I requested it on netgalley. (I thought it is a thriller! *face-palm*)I am yet to read the first book. But it did not hamper the reading experience, it could be read as stand alone as well.
The book was hilarious. A very easy read about…
