every time i see people say that shane wants ilya to stop smoking and is on his dick about it. consider that he stood there for one cigarette (maybe two) same blanket, little morning coffee, little kiss, toothpaste and ashy tabacco. and maybe he holds ilya's cigarette butt for him so that he can throw it away when they get back inside, instead of dropping it on the floor. maybe he doesn't like the habit, wouldnt like it for himself, but wouldnt know the taste of ilya without it. maybe he accepts it, carries his smushed up pack of imported russian cigarettes (american is just too weak) for him when ilya's hideous skinny jeans and vintage silk shirts don't have enough pocket space. you ever think about that??
