it really speaks to being a woman working in the comic industry or just being in comic spaces in general how we’ve really just not progressed much at all and how every day there’s something new but oh its okay we have some good girlboss portrayals of female characters and lesbians to attract young women to comics but the women creating the comics will get nothing but mistreatment

every comic is good actually. except the racist and sexist and otherwise bigoted ones. so every comic is bad

ngl i do think being so chronically online has eroded ppls boundaries and cognitive empathy. like go offline and only come back once youve learned how to treat people like theyre fully sapient human beings just like u and not npcs
