Hackers are attempting to attack the systems that control local water supplies in the US (the water supply is still safe so far) and instead of taking the threat seriously the current administration is like “I think they’re just bad at managing themselves”
Like hello Mr. Idiot in chief it’s literally your job to deal with foreign threats and this isn’t just a local issue anymore. The whole point of having a federation is so we can pool our resources to deal with problems that cross state borders.
We’re very well protected physically here in the US seeing that we’ve got oceans and very few neighbors around us but in the modern world there’s more than one way to attack people and foreign hackers are attacking water systems and oil pipelines and other municipal things organized by computers connected to the internet.
The federal government is supposed to help companies and states prevent this sort of thing but they’re acting like it’s a local issue. It’s not.
