Oh So Very Silly

Different from the normal stuff I post, but I feel it’s important to share. I feel like Autism isn’t talked about enough. Not just in general, or the specific symptoms, but how genuinely depressing it can be. I don’t think people understand how difficult it is to go months without having any meltdowns or really bad episodes and feeling like maybe the doctors were wrong, maybe I “grew out of it”, or maybe I’m finally doing things right, just to have a really bad meltdown that leaves you unhappy and overly irritable for days. To be so brutally reminded that you’re different from everyone else, on a neurological level that can never be fixed. You will never be the same as your friends, your family, or anyone you meet to no fault of your own and you can never fix it. It fucking sucks and more people should be aware of it.

Tullk never had his own kids, but he’s really good with them. When Yondu was brought onto Stakar’s team (Yondu was 20 something but still traumatized so needed more patience anyways) Tullk was the one in charge of making sure he didn’t die. It’s why he stayed with Yondu after he got his own clan, to protect him and look after him. Because Yondu knows Tullk is good at comforting new recruits who more skittish or emotional he’s the one in charge of comforting them. Obviously this isn’t directly said, it’s more Yondu will mention how the new recruits need to “toughen up” while around Tullk, and then Tullk hunts them down and comforts them after “accidentally” finding them. He was pretty close to a dad for Peter and a lot of other recruits on the younger side

If I were to write a story with Tullk and Oblo with a father-son relationship would y’all fuck with that?
