i want a movie (or well done short film) where he works together with various heroes to fight toxic masculinity. like. movie where kirishima guides villains/anti-heroes/etc. to go to therapy, get rehab, get the help you need, because the strongest thing you can do is to admit you need help. to be vulnerable. and to see him trust his friends and to see him lean on them for things he needs (but of course, he would help them first, or do a mutual favor). AND TO SEE HIS FRIENDS HAVE CONCRETE TRUST IN HIS ABILITIES BECAUSE HE DOES EVERYTHING ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND DOESN'T QUIT

I think overall it's an issue I have with fandom culture in general where there's just so much emphasis on shipping and playing dolls with characters that there tends to be a sort of forgetfullness of the characters as individuals. And again, there's nothing wrong with shipping, I do it too, but I guess what I'm asking for is some kind of balance? Like, ship the characters but also don't forget them as individuals as well to prevent flanderization of them.

I hope I got my point across decently...

Specifically talking about his corelation and connection to socrates.

Socrates (the father of philosophy), main idea is that "he knows that he knows nothing" and so what he does is ask everything, question the knowlage of the people who claims to be experts in their field, not to belittle them but to genuienly find a conclusive answer.

There's even a method based off of this called the "socratic method". In a discussion, one person states something that they believe is the truth, and the other person questions and challenges that statement, and then the first person clarifies the definition, and after that the second person ask them another question, and that cycle repeats until they come to a conclusive answer.

Socrates doesn't claim to offer knowledge, he acts more like a midwife of thinking, where he'll ask you question after question until you realize the answer yourself.

Also he got executed for 'corrupting the youth' by teaching them to question everything, and so they started to rebel

All of this seems to relate with gabriel alot. Questions everything out of genuienr curiosity, being hated for asking too much questions, acts very quirky (sitting down and turning into stone while thinking sounds like smt gabriel would do) etc etc.

So basically he represents the base of philosophy which is questioning everything.

They have a very common trope for rockstar characters as a core, that changes perception based on gender i suposse. I probably wouldnt stand Griffin while i love Gina, which i think is funny.

But i think the biggest reason as to why i love them is how much vulnerable they are? We see G at their worst almost IMMEDIATELY in the story, while O is stable and reliable, Seven is distant, August is unknown and Sebastian is just a really cool guy. G is immediately hangover on our face being very insuferable in that scene with Victoria.

And i think the final scene of chapter 5 kinda encapsulates a lot about what i like about the character (specifically Gina since she is the one i played a 100 times over), she is a dick, irresponsible and a fuck up. She recieved the world on a silver platter at 16 and she has no fuckin idea what to do about it now at almost 30. They weep and moan about how hard their life is and how much shit they make all the while not realizing how much power they truly hold, and is insuferable. (yet they constantly try to help people she has any kind of connection with the power she thinks she has)

And at the same time, they are extremely vulnerable. They truly just want to share a genuine connection with Mc that grows little by little in their route, and the cheating is the culmination of someone really irresponsible finding the type of conection she really wants. And i really love that, i REALLY love that.
