i don’t think certain actresses were snubbed. i think instead these certain actresses were not given a full, coherent storyline that showed full range. in which case that is a writers room issue.
#s/antos is def a writers room favorite#but instead giving her an arc they stalled on her#they gave her a bunch of stuff but didn’t do anything with it#no build up#and if#u watch s2 it feels like it’s going somewhere and then…it doesn’t#there’s no solution or catharsis#the karaoke it is a bandaid on an incomplete arc#samira/supriya—well i think they just cut out all her scenes#so we can’t even say if she was snubbed or not#when u compare those#two characters to baran#baran got a full arc with a beginning middle and end#so did mel/dearden even tho#she had way less screentime in the first half#of the season#like this is all starts in the writers room#and a lot of you need to take it up with them
