i fucking LOVE imagining dark as like an actual horror entity and what entails with that

i love the hot suave guy we have rn but GODD ive got so many ideas like you never truly see his face, you only ever see it in brief reflections- he’s unable to be photographed or recorded because any camera distorts him

his aura suffocates a room and he LITERALLY GREYS OUT THE COLOR AROUND HIM

not to mention how he’s literally designed to make you uncomfortable— with the constant ringing and the shifting colors

i think he’d also make the room either uncomfortably hot or cold depending on whos piloting the body— and what about extremes when he loses his temper— scorching footprints into the floor or giving people frostbite if he grabs them while angry?

And mirrors, his best friend and worst enemy— they’re the only thing you can see his face in (other than puddles and other reflective surfaces) but every time he gazes directly at himself they shatter

smoke pours out of his mouth when he commands and his personality is cold and detached unless he wants something from you, then he’s sickeningly sweet and no matter how nice he is you always feel that awful pit in your stomach knowing that once he has what he wants its back to barely acknowledging you

his shadow never fits his body— always misshapen, too tall or too short or too many eyes or not the right body at all- did it just move?

Because of his history with Wilford (and wil’s colorful and saturated personality) wilford is immune to dark’s vibe killer aura and doesn’t seem to notice that Damien isn’t exactly human— he’s more like something pretending to be human and learning more every day, mimicking breathing or certain habits or gestures

If his aura cracks the ringing goes up to a deafening shriek

i think its very interesting that dark/characters associated with him are so connected with stars/space. celine having her black dress with the white star pattern and then ms whitacre with the scarf (?) with glittery stars.

and then when celine helps y/n see into the future, their visions are backed with this black and white star backround. (sorry its hard to see in this image)

a common motif is also dark manipulating tv noise/fuzz which is created from cosmic radiation
