typically i don't like to share details about my life publicly, but given that this page was launched due to changes in my life circumstances i figured it would be apropos.

on tumblr i have vaguely alluded to my poor health, including leaving work to go on disability and having had multiple UR/ER stays over the summer. i have a lot of chronic health conditions i'm currently struggling with, some of which aren't fully diagnosed yet, and the medical care for them eats up a significant amount of time and mental/emotional energy.

i live with gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and autoimmune conditions which have required major life adjustments, immunosuppressing medications, physical therapy, and are pending surgery. i also have multiple mental health conditions, ADHD, and had cancer treatment in fall 2024 (which, while successful, will require life-time monitoring and is made worse by my immunosuppressants).

i'm temporarily leaving the work force in order to undergo exploratory procedures, treatments, and recovery/rehabilitation. during this time i will also be sorting out some professional training, with my ultimate life plan being to open a private practice i can run part-time.
