New Bobbi Brown Nude Beach Collection Will Make Beach Bums Rejoice This Summer
What's sexier than a summer glow? Nothing. Well, in my case, apparently ghost is my color, because I try my best to stay out of the sun. But with the help of Bobbi Brown's exquisite new Nude Beach Collection, I'll be able to fake a fresh baked glow all summer long.

Where has she been?? Lana Del Rey has certainly been mia lately. But late last night she world premiered her new video for "Chelsea Hotel No 2", a cover done first by singer/songwriter, Leonard Cohen. Â
Of course she looks beautiful in the clip. Wearing her trademark heavy eyeliner, 60's huge false lashes, nude lips, and giant chocolate tresses, Lana could be mistaken for Miss America instead of a singer (but that's per usual).
The track, one surprisingly I have never heard before, is sad, introspective and deep, much like the works of Miss Del Rey herself. It's gorgeously stripped down, mostly just her husky, echoey, breathy whisper of a voice, and an acoustic guitar. Leonard Cohen wrote the tune, which appeared on his 1974 album, "New Skin For The Old Ceremony" about his short romance with the infamous Janis Joplin at the long-time NYC celeb infested haunt, The Chelsea Hotel.

The Return Of Marilyn - Is MAC Re-Releasing Monroe Collection?
Hmmmm.... this smells a little fishy to me.  According to famed beauty blog, Specktra.net, MAC will be releasing a "MAC x The Return of Marilyn Monroe Collection" this fall.  As we know, the global brand released their original MM collection last fall to not-so-wonderful reviews (I didn't even pick up one item and I am Marilyn obsessed), so I'm curious as to what they're thinking this time around.  Will it be a re-release of the collection?  New reds?  New nudes?  A new concept altogether?  Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.  Although, how many more reds can the brand come up with?  They have the market pretty covered, haha.

Starting this Sunday, the life of LEGENDARY performer David Bowie will be up for show & tell at London'sVictoria & Albert Museum.  With 50,000 pre-sold tickets, the exhibit has broken box-office records and is now the most anticipated exhibit in the museum's history. Â
The exhibit traces Bowie's rise to fame, from his early beginning in South London, through his "Changes" era, through the release of his first new album in ten years, "The Next Day", which was released last week.  There are articles of clothing from the all Bowie eras, including the striped bodysuit from the iconic 1973 Alladin Sane tour and a familiar blue, gold and red Freddie Burretti jumpsuit (his famous Ziggy Stardust ensemble) that fans can check out.  In keeping with how innovative the superstar is, there are also multimedia stations in the exhibit which feature rare footage from concerts in the 60's and 70's, that show his rises and subsequent falls in fame.  The soundtrack will be nothing less than stellar as well, and will feature music that spans from his entire career.
The 66-year-old sure made a lasting impression on the world and I just wish I was in London to check out this amazeballs sounding exhibit. Â This is a superfan's dream, it's like Bowie Candyland. Â "David Bowie Is"Â will run from March 23rd through August 11th.

The Lineup For MEGA Music Festival "Osheaga" is Announced!
Whoa, check out THIS line-up! Â Announced today, the sixth annual Osheaga Festival is looking pretty amazing.
 Taking place on August 2-4 in GORGEOUS Montreal, at the Parc Jean-Drapeau, the summer fest is really pulling out all the stops, and I for one would DIE to head up north to attend.  Headliners include The Cure(who are one of my all-time favorites for sure), Mumford & Sons, New Order, Phoenix, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Vampire Weekend, The Lumineers, and HUGE right now on the hip hop radar, Kendrick Lamar.  Other acts include Hot Chip, Flogging Molly, Big Boi (of Outcast), The Gaslight Anthem,Azealia Banks, Yelawolf, Grouplove, The Heavy, Frank Turner, one of my newest obsessions, LA's own The Neighbourhood, and many more. Â
What's so great about this fest is that every spectrum is covered, hip hop, rock, pop, experimental, indie, dance, ect. Â 2013's Osheaga Festival is definitely my favorite festival lineup announced so far this year! Â Tickets go on sale Friday at the official website HERE.

Rihanna Teaming Up With MAC Cosmetics For Multi-Season Collection
Is there anything Queen RiRi can't do?  The gorgeous singer, who turns the big 25 TODAY mind you (Happy Birthday biyaaaatch!), is teaming up with my favorite cosmetics company MAC and will release four different color collections this year.  What?! Â
The "RiRi <3 (Hearts) MAC" Collection will launch first the "RiRi Woo" color, which is an offshoot of MAC's already popular "Ruby Woo", a beautiful blood red shade that's a favorite of the singer and also of burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese.  The lipstick will be available at Rihanna's May 4th and 5th concerts at a pop up shop and also online.  The next colections will respectively come out in the summer, fall and holiday.  Word on the street is that we'll be seeing around 31 pieces that the songstress created with the iconic makeup line, including false lashes (RiRi is said to wear two pairs at a time... that's my girl), a "RiRi Woo" lipglass, eyeshadow palettes, nail polishes, makeup bags, and more.  I don't know about you, but I am stoked for this collab, it's bound to besexy, a little dirty and ultra chic (I mean just look at the teaser photo above, can I get a hell yes?!)

The Blonds seem to always provide the most show-stopping runways I've ever seen. Creators David and Phillipe Blond's collective brains work in in a way I just can't understand, but I'm so happy that their brand of crazy exists! Last week's NYFW show featuring the Fall 2013 collection had no shortage of Hitchcockian serial killer inspired looks. The 60's mod-coquette blonde wigs were obviously to-die for. L-O-V-E. The clothing (well, not so much clothing as mush as costumes, because that's how The Blonds roll) was well… insane. Â
See what I mean? Â Nothing like a sexy, albeit a little bloody, raincoat in the morning!
The hospital called and they want their gurney back. Â The middle model is very "Don't you understand, THIS is an Alaia!" in that fantastic nude leather number. Â It looks like it's been ripped to shreds with tons of "blood" aka red jewels and sequins included. Â The last look is my favorite, see my comment a few more pictures below.

Black Swan on Acid.
This is by far my favorite look from the collection, the infamous shower scene in Psycho, caught in a multi-print on a micromini with the most amazing red and black fur and motorcycle gloves. Could this get any better? Â
One of my favorite looks, the "Slasher" dress, not even sure if that's what it's called but it should be, genius. Â
Knee length fabulous fur coats with Jack Nicholson's scary-ass mug printed on the model's micromini. Â A ...jumpsuit? Â Not sure on that one at all. Â And lastly, the rope dress. Â Now, if you were about to get killed by being hung, this dress would definitely cause some heads to turn, eh?
Oh, and I couldn't believe those nails either! Did you check out some of those insanely amazing manis on those models? So creative, so frightening, so glamorous, SO GOOD. Some of Hitchcock's best films were caught on those hands. The nail techs at Butter London and CND really took it up a notch and crafted some truly out there designs that I am just obsessed with. Â

New music CRUSH - Introducing the Tattooed, Talented & Gorgeous Gin Wigmore
As you know, I love fresh new music! And if there's a gorgeous face that goes along with it, how could it get any better? Blogs has been hyping New Zealand's Gin Wigmore for a couple years now but I had never listened to her music until a few weeks back and I'm in luuuurve.  Her genre is …..? I can't even tell you.  Pop? Rock 'n roll? Throwback? She's like a darker, quirkier, cooler, sassier, platinum, Kiwi version of Amy Winehouse. You could compare her sound on ballads to Mazzy Star's angelic lead singer Hope Sandoval, Nancy Sinatra or even Roy Orbison. To most though, she sounds like a much more talented (and tattooed) Duffy. Gin's music is a complete breath of fresh air and I can't wait to hear more of it.
On stage, she is just a big freakin' ball of energy! Her top notch performances of "Black Sheep" and "Man Like That" on Jimmy Kimmel from a few weeks back were seriously awesome, check them out here. Her 4-song ep"Man Like That" (download from US iTunes here) is the only thing keeping our ears satisfied in the US until her Motown debut album "Gravel & Wine" hits stores in March. Â
All in all, girl's got a cool name, a catchy, great sound, and a gorgeous face.  Gin Wigmore is an artist to keep watching hardcore in 2013!

Lindsay Lohan to Star In Upcoming Kitchy 1950's Hollywood Indie Flick "The Canyons"
Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay. Â The paparazzi love you. Â The media is obsessed. Â Are you off drugs? Â Are you on drugs? Â Who knows for sure. Â What we DO know though, is that Miss Lohan will be starring in a NEW movie, called "The Canyons", hitting theaters sometime this year. Â I must say friends, it looks veryyyyyy interesting. Â The Paul Schrader directed, Bret Easton Ellis penned independant film is set in the 50's, and Lindsay plays "Tara", a "sensouous woman torn between two loves". Â
The acting in the trailer looks completely god awful but the flick's dark, noir, Hollywood theme peaks my interest because well to be honest....I love shit like this, haha. Â Porn star turned apparently B-movie "actor" James Deen co-stars and the movie also features an appearance by acclaimed director/actor Gus Van Sant. Â So bad it's good? Â Looks destined to be my friends. Â Hey, at least my girl Linds looks gorgeous!

We're now officially ONE WEEK into the new year! Man, time really flies. 2012 was a blur, I had some incredible times with friends and family, found an amazing man who treats me right, got the opportunity to start writing for BUZZNET, visited some insanely awesome places and so much more. It always takes me forever to come up with New Years Resolutions that I'll actually stick to, it's easy to get sidetracked and slip back into old ways. I am vowing to myself and to those close to me that I will stay on the right track to get myself better than EVER this year and that all starts with figuring out your resolutions! It's all about how you're going to better yourself for the new year. How you're going to change the bad habits, how you're going to do something new and fresh and how you're going to challenge yourself. These are all things people keep in mind when making their annual resolution list. Me? Well, I definitely know there are ways I can be better.Â
Here are MY resolutions for 2013:
-Learn how to play piano
-Go back to school (only 2 years to go!)
-Get my vintage and unique clothing/antique/furniture store up and running
-Try out more unique makeup looks, instead of my everyday go to
-Do more yoga
-Be the best person I can be for myself and my loved ones, always
-Go on more adventures
-Write more
-Visit Spain
-Grow my blogs and get millions of followers =]

Did YOU collect Archie Comics when you were little?  Oh man, I did.  Bins and bins and bins.  I was a comic book nerd to the 15th power.  But only for Archie's.  I loved all the stories of those silly Riverdale High kids.  Which one would he choose this week?  Betty or Veronica?  Well coming this spring, makeup fanatics, MAC is rolling out their "Archie's Girls" collection! Â
Based on the classic comic book series, the collection will feature two completely different color stories, one for each of Archie's main girls, Betty and Veronica.  Betty Cooper's "Girl Next Door Blonde" line will feature sweet colors, think pinks, peaches, and corals.  I'm loving the sound of the Betty palette, adorably named the Caramel Sundae eyeshadow palette.  Veronica Lodge's "Vivacious, Spoiled, Rich, Brunette" line will feature sultry plum, navy, cherry red, and black color schemes. Â
The compacts are precious, with hearts impacted in the powder. Â No word on exact release day yet but, awwww.... Â looks like it could be just in time for Valentine's Day.

90's souls are PSYCHED right now.  Totally tubular!  (That's 90's lingo right? Alright, alright, I'll go pop Cluelessback into my VHS and get myself in check, don't yell at me.)  Unif, the punky, all black everythaaang, DGAF attitude clothing line just tweeted the link to their brand new lookbook, "Nothing Lasts Whatever".  It looks like it was all shot with disposible cameras, and it's certainly as grungy, early 90's Seattle as it can get.  Tie-die and all.  I am obsessed with the leather cross dress, the leopard spiked jacket, and the Dear Satan sweater, but everything else is just eh to me.  The styling could've been a little better for the shoot but eh, it's Unif and their pieces kick my ass so it's ok. I would however like those three items inder my tree Santa, please and thanks.
