Not that Ziam must have specific roles, but about the hanky code, at first I took it as a fashion thing doubting Li would promote himself as a bottom (right side) thinking he tops at least sometimes (humping Zayn backstage etc) but it seems he’s now switched it completely to his left side?? I can’t figure out any reason why but someone telling him and switching accordingly, eg. Harry putting Li’s hanky on his left so maybe he did? 1d day made Li seem like a kinky bottom tho lol, your thoughts?:)

I find it incredibly funny how I get these hanky and topping questions regularly. Well, you asked, so what the hell, I will answer…

I guess there’s always a possibility that neither of them mean anything with his bandana choices, but I do find it intriguing how the other boys know exactly which side the colours belong to, like when Harry noticed Liam had dropped the black bandana and tucked it in the same pocket where it always is in Sydney. Also Liam got so flustered in Adelaide when Louis decided show the audience his fuchsia bandana, that he forgot to sing his part of Last First Kiss not once, but twice. If the bandanas don’t mean anything, there shouldn’t be a reason to react, right?

Liam also pointed at his black bandana and gave the thumbs up in the 1D day video (shot in Australia in October 2013).

If you read bit more about the hanky code, you’ll notice it doesn’t always mean one is a bottom when one wears a hanky on right side. If we go by the book, the side just indicates whether the wearer prefers to be the one who initiates the act or the one who receives the act. Left side usually acts, right side receives.

If we go through Li’s bandana choices with the hanky code, it would read thusly:

Dark blue in right pocket: Prefers to be a bottom in anal sex

White in right pocket: Gets handjobs

Black in left pocket: (heavy) S&M top (means he dominates, isn’t submissive)

Fuchsia in left and right pocket: Likes to spank and be spanked.

Red in left pocket: Literal meaning would be fistfucks his partner. However, since I haven’t found any colour code for finger stimulation, it also could mean just that.

Also: I’d add Zayn’s black bandana tattoo to this. It’s on his right arm, which would indicate he’s a submissive in S&M.

On October 9th I saw the short on YouTube about Liam attending Niall’s show in Argentina. The comment section was full of negativity and I felt this urge in me to write something nice about Liam, to show him my support, to show the world that there were many of us who always were on his side.

A week later he left us.

I hope he felt our support wherever he was, I hope he knew that he wasn’t alone and that so many people around the world loved and cherished him.

Considering that Zayn also was here, right next to his husband, there is no surprise he asked to play this particular song on the Monica vs Brandy live.
