Like Mr. I fight people to find someone who is as strong as me or even stronger. So we can just fight and 'play' all the time but not in the case where one of us dies. Because thats the way I know how to express my emotions and I believe when I fight someone it in a way makes us friends and I can see the potential of others at times. But I also hurt myself and crave human connection and try to find that connection through many of the people I meet and I have a deep understanding in poison and how it affects the body And my backstory is not known or shown only theories that are guessed through my actions.

Zanka fantasizes about taking down one of these “geniuses,” relishing in the idea of showing them what an "average joe" is capable of. When he’s fighting enemies, he takes pleasure in insulting and defeating them, these acts feeding his ego. Zanka enjoys overpowering anyone who deems themselves better than him, which is why he takes defeats so hard because in his mind, he’s lesser than the “genius” who beat him. Since his academy days, he has been fixated on exceeding Hyo, who feels indifferent about him and views him as only an ex-classmate. However, for Zanka, she’s the one who showed him that he’s an “average Joe" and changed the trajectory of his entire life. He’s been competing with someone who doesn’t even think about him and is living her own life.

The people he has so far shown his inferiority complex towards to- Hyo, Jabber, and Rudo- come from significantly lesser backgrounds from him.

Upon first encounter, he assumes they are superior to him in skill are just naturally better. As if the possibility of them having a hard life forced them to adapted quickly (Hyo), that they acquired knowledge by trial and error (Jabber), or that there is something else going on behind the scenes (Rudo). Or that they don’t have mental struggle for being ‘gifted’ (ALL THREE- and Zanka himself).

It’s like a rich kid who worked hard but had a slight luxury nonetheless- looking at a kid with lesser background scoring top instead of them once and having a meltdown about how they were not ‘born a genius’.

Tells his students that he’s not sure if he’ll even be here next semester to teach bc he might be too dumb to finish his thesis, then turns around and asks how it’s possible people failed the quiz, this is simple stuff, guys

Follo and Rudo as undergrads in his class, they hate this fucking lab, are suffering
