It's never okay to drive dangerously, like a psychopath just because you are upset...I feel like I shouldn't have to say this...self control, not traumatizing the people riding with you, and not accidentally running over other humans in a parking lot are enough reasons WHY

AITA? If your significant other wants a puppy but your house is already full including kids...things are barely puttering along but you have a routine and you are TRYING to work on your relationship...you ask them kindly Not to get this puppy...more than 3 times...because you are already overwhelmed and at your breaking point...also your other half is never home and you know you will be the primary caretaker. ...fast forward...they get the dog ANYWAY totally disregarding your feels. The house is in chaos, the puppy bites and growls at you despite you being nice to it (note: you have raised 9 dogs, 5 of which were puppies) so you are no novice. Your partner swore to enroll the pup in obedience class and never did...the pup is extremely stubborn,a bully towards yourself, youngest child, cats, and other dog who is a mini and only 13lbs... note the puppy is already 30lbs now. Your youngest has scars from being bitten and chased ...not the fun type of puppy play you are accustomed to🫣. The puppy even bites you on a regular basis and no redirection works....instead of being supportive your partner deflects and always blames everyone except the puppy. No one in the family actually likes/wants the puppy inc your partner but due to being a narcissist, they can't/won't admit it. You want to re-home the dog to someone who has time for it and will actually take it to obedience class. Note: the partner also does a crappy job cleaning up after the dog and it falls on you mostly. Today a neighbor who is typically rude and does not even say hello to you went out of their way to own or shame you for having your dog on a tether out despite it being all the requirements for your city they threatened that animal control would come and take all of your animals including your cat that you've had for many years your kitten and your 5-year-old mini. Upset and caught off guard you text your other half that this puppy needs to be rehomed, your beloved cats and other dog that you have had forever come to mind as you hear this semi empty threat. To clarify, the dog was tethered and given half the yard because it bites and attacks you and everyone EXCEPT your partner and it was causing so much discord also the dog was only tethered 3 hours a day with food shade and water in good weather so no actual animal abuse was taking place. So your other have comes home in a pissy rage tells you that magically they found a home for the puppy despite claiming they could not find one every other time you ask them to look.. gave you a dirty look grab the dog and left.... My question is are you the asshole or are they? (Note the dog is going to a new home not to the SPCA)
