Calling me, someone who comes from a long line of broke, struggling rural southern USians, "classist" is fuckin rich coming from the guy who lives in a rather well off financial situation in Washington, has no problems having his expenses covered, has never actually been homeless (I have, when I started living with a relative rather than couch surfing and sleeping in cars, I was no longer homeless), has never had his life completely crumble around him due to financial and mental strain, has never had to deal with having NO material support system for the vast majority of his life, ect.
Obviously I don't expect him to know any of that about me. It's the fact that he, like many other people I take issue with, automatically assumes anyone who dislikes him must be in a higher class, or homophobic, or hates sick people, or whatever strawman he needs to believe to avoid the reality that his own ongoing behavior toward multiple people over a long period of time that he's posted in public for all to see has consequences and will make people think he's a fucking dick.

Watching one of the most classic manipulator moves play out within the span of a couple of days is wild. I've lived through that shit irl. I've been trapped in living situations with that sort of shit.
Weeks, months, sometimes years of pushing, prodding, lying, insulting, gaslighting, verbal, emotional, sometimes physical abuse. But you take it because reasons. The person has mental issues. The person is traumatized. The person has physical health issues. The person doesn't have anyone else in their life. It's always something.
Until finally they get the slightest pushback. "What you said really hurts me." "What you're doing is dangerous." "That was a really messed up thing to say." "You shouldn't treat them like that." And then suddenly it shifts to, "I'm going to KILL MYSELF because YOU'RE the one abusing me and it'll be YOUR FAULT!" Often while twisting or outright lying about what you really said.
That shit doesn't work on me anymore. Fuck all the way off, you manipulative piece of shit. Nobody wants you to die and you damn well know that. You just need everyone around you to believe you're the victim 24/7 despite the fact that you've spent YEARS lying your ass off and antagonizing people.

Buddy I am/have been a recreational drug user. I'm fully pro-SAFE, INFORMED, RESPONSIBLE drug use. Peeper is not in any capacity someone I trust to handle any sort of psychoactive or potentially addictive substance safely, and I sure as shit don't trust him to be giving advice about it online when he seems to have a rather large, impressionable following that would be very susceptible to being convinced to try something that could or absolutely would be harmful to them.
I'm not fucking kidding about this by the way. Being pro-[redacted by tumblr] doesn't mean just diving into shit with little to no forethought. That's how you get addicted and don't realize you are before it's too late. That's how you end up with some serious problems.

I knew someone who would call me up late at night having horrible panic attacks and agonizingly intense itching all over their body. I didn't find out until after we stopped talking that it was benzos, which she was initially prescribed by a psyche and had a medical reason for taking, but she got carried away and didn't realize in time.
I've lived with people who dealt with mild to moderate psychosis and extreme rage all the time due to painkiller abuse (they'd often go through a month's supply in a week and be at each other's throats the rest of the month, in pain that was exacerbated due to withdrawal).
I know someone who even managed to develop an addiction to psychedelics, which isn't something most people do or can get addicted to because of how intense they are. It was an escape.
None of this is to say I think "drugs r bad, mmkay". This is to emphasize that if you're going to do them, you need to be informed on what the potential risks and side effects are. And you absolutely need to be honest with yourself on whether or not it would be a good idea for you to try it.
Do not take any rando online's words alone at face value when it comes to research. Different people are going to be affected differently.
