That's the thing though. They genuinely and sincerely legitimately think that's what "Nazi" means. To them, "Nazi" is just the label you give to the "bad people who are bad because they disagree with me." And the reason that's the label they get is because it gives them social power over them, because nobody wants to be called a Nazi and thus they will either be silenced into compliance or face social ostracization for being so labeled.

And just like that, the left loses interest in the Middle East. In 2025, they spoke of little else. They culturally appropriated Arab headwear, poncing about in China-made keffiyehs. They wrapped themselves in the Palestine colours. They frothed day and night about a ‘murderous regime’ – you know who. And yet now, as a Middle Eastern people revolt against their genuinely repressive rulers, they’ve gone schtum. What is it about revolts in Iran that rankle the activist class? These people love to yap about ‘resistance’ and ‘oppression’. Yet the minute men and women in Iran rise up in resistance against the oppressive theocracy that immiserates and subjugates them, they go coy. Their solidarity evaporates. Their flag-waving ends. They go back to tweeting about TV.

A cash society being seen as a bad thing is so fucking Orwellian to me, technology can fail at any moment, you could ran out of battery on your cellphone, lose signal or even break it/have it stolen, so it’s always great to have cash on hand just in case.
