Yo guys I think my last post got weird spam replies or auto replies. They're all freakishly normal? I'm scared. Also I got a lot of DMS and replied to a few of them, I don't think they read the post right anyway cause like it mentions what I'm looking for and what it's about etc and yet that stuff was in the post.
2nd post on it though, I need a beta reader who knows the Transformers mythos, like you need to know about the many different tv shows and comics.
For my fic specifically I'm looking for people who have seen transformers prime, bits and pieces of the original show from 86 (not super required), cyberverse and read some of the IDW continuity (If you've read all you're a better fan than me and you're exactly what I need).
It's a sci-fi enemies to lovers type of fic with angst hurt/comfort as another pillar. The upsetting tag I'll mention below the line.
It has non-con elements because I enjoy writing work that makes me hurt in some sadistic masochistic way. Not between the 2 MC's but between the big bad of the story and one of the MC's. There will be a lot of self reflection of characters in aftermath scenes and comfort!

I have written about 8/9 chapters so far which are in various states of planning/storyboarding/editing and I'm using google docs to write in before I post onto AO3. Got back into transformers again. So you know what that means! actually posting your fic you started writing a year ago.
The first chapter is out! I'm still learning characterisations and my goodness dialogue is hard. But here we go!

Megatron and Optimus Prime had finally forged a Peace Treaty they and all of their people could abide by as they rebuilt their cities and planet now that the All-spark had been returned to the well and the matrix of leadership was fully restored. There had still been a lot of infighting, but finally, when it seemed like everyone finally got along, the news of their millions of years long war had ended and it reached the Quintessons. They believed they had a claim over the Cybertronian people and knew no one else in the galaxy would even try to stop them.
They didn't know what had struck them when it finally occurred. They fought. But the Quintessons weren't here to kill. They were here to conquer and control once more. The tide of this new war was in the people's favour until the impossible occurred, and both leaders were taken alongside many more of the people's brethren in one swoop of destruction and deceit.
Now, inside the Quintesson spire, a cage barely large enough for the two war mechs. The two unarmed leaders struggle to find comfort or escape.
As a kid I was satisfied with the conclusion. As an adult, I still am satisfied. Yes there's always going to be small parts that I despise. However, it was perfect. It concluded everything and felt complete.

So I'm watching voltron again and wow it's so much more than I remember. I'm onto season 6 now and the character growth is amazing for every character. The plot twists I half remember and side characters I've kind of slowly recollected.
I'm shocked that we went through four seasons of clone Shiro. Like woah. Baffling.
Also I'm so pissy about the Lotor still being evil..
Lotura can never be in canon cause Lotor a lil bitch.
"All good things" is a crazy episode. Also Allura comparing Lotor to Zarcon was so fucking harsh and definitely is the push he needed to have his heart shatter. Like dude you earned it for what you did to her people after the destruction of Alteia.

Looking at my notes app for another thing but found this.
"His hands slowly turned into fists. His nails digging angrily at his plating as he cursed his own blackened spark. He yearned for the sweet release of death after what he had endured at the hands of Unicron. The lack of control. But that was just the cowards away out. He could not just join the allspark. Not after all the atrocities he has committed. That would be unforgiving of his cold greyed corpse. Unlike the one before him, this one had so much hope and love before it sacrificed itself to allow more to return and be reborn. He would never be like him. Never a prime. Always the warlord."
Like okay. We love some Megatron angst, I do not know why I wrote this.
Cecil doodle and my new Invincible !viltrumite oc!
Lot of text and Invincible spoilers ahead. I might also follow some of the comic storyline eventually but so far it's abridged from the show.
Her Viltrumite name is Chick although as she got older she changed it to Hen.
Her father is Conquest and she was born sometime during the scourge virus. So she's only about 1700 years old. Conquest chose her name because her mother died from the virus while pregnant. She's technically a tube baby. Conquest chose her name. That is why its strange.
Thragg did attempt a breeding program to try and save their population a bit but most of them failed. Chick was the only survivor out of few infants conceived in the attempt. Her mother died straight up and there were a few complications but Chick survived and thrived. Conquest lost his arm also during that time so that was fun.
Conquest wasn't horrible as a parent but like most viltrumites and especially because well, he's a bloodthirsty guy he wasn't amazing. Chick does resent him for her separation from most of the viltrumite populace just because he is her father.
Eventually, both her and Nolan were sent to earth together. Like her father, nobody wants to work with her therefore Nolan doesn't really like her at all.
Nolan does his own thing on earth respecting the GDA authority etc. Hen decides she is going to work more closely and tries to do infiltration stuff but Cecil is Cecil and does not trust her at all to begin with.
She becomes Phantom. And her suit applies extra abilities that can momentarily make her invisible. Perfect for stealth, she was good at it before but the suit helps.
She and Cecil eventually get along and she confesses her feelings for him. She and him do actually get married which was surprising to literally everyone but they made each other happy somehow. Hen, or Hannah Stedman became a Model in her time away from the GDA, giving her a cover identity similar with Nolan and his books.
Both her and Nolan work together with the guardians and other teams and sometimes together, She and Debbie become great friends and eventually Nolan gets over the "oh shittings its conquests kid fuh nah".
Hen basically becomes an aunty/godparent to mark. Hen isn't able to have kids so mark is her substitute a bit much to Nolan's distaste. Debbie is fine with it. Also Debbie fully believes that Nolan and Hen are related even when Nolan insists they aren't. They're very alike lol.
Anyways, plot continues from there where Nolan snaps and smites the guardians. Hen is actually a bit disgusted because the Cecil effect got her. Anyway Cecil immediately is wary of his wife and is like. Look. You're not Nolan but you're the same species you gotta tell me wtf is going on. She is still loyal to viltrum in guarding the secrets of stuff so she's in special containment for viltrumites. She let the GDA work with her on things like that willingly during the 20 years on earth because again, Cecil effect. However Cecil does let her still help with the Flaxan invasion and both her and Nolan go through the portal together this time. (This timeline with two viltrumites it takes a LOT longer for the Flaxans to come back. I'm gonna say way later in the story.)
"PHANTOM IS YOUR AUNT???" type shit. ty Rex. Also because I said so, Rex LOVES Phantom like hardcore fan and looked up to her and knows she's Cecil's wife but didn't know the connection between omni-man and her because they look different and her suit does give her the slightly different/modified abilities. So like it would totally throw him off.
Rest of S1 plot happens yaddah yaddah. She isn't there for Mark and Nolan's fight, she did try to convince him not to but Nolan is a stubborn guy so he and her had a fight before. He totally wiped her into the floor, so she's actually recovering at the GDA, that's why she wasn't there for Nolan and Marks fight.
That's most of it, I do have S3 plotline kind of worked out but not s2.
Conquests arrival etc. she's there to help Mark and Eve and Oliver. Cecil and her have divorced and she has her own Debbie depression arc because she's guilty about lying to him for so long. Because glory to viltrum or whatever but she's been a betrayer basically as soon as she arrived on earth so it's her own fault anyway. She folded so fast.
Mark finds out conquest is her dad and honestly I think Conquest basically kills her instead of Eve. I'd say Marks reaction is a bit similar but he does "kill" him too. Cecil being Cecil probably brings her back like how Donald is. Bro wouldn't let his space wife go like that even if he resents her a lot.

So like ep1 of season 2 where the sailors are stuck in prison for betraying their country etc and woe is them for losing their gold (but not gold cuz we know it's orichalcum) anyway yay kids gonna save them like they did in the show. But fuck plot armour and in the escape attempt someone gets hurt. (Let's be so real it was Esteban. And for good measure Mendoza did get shot by a musket bullet. Anyway they're all recaptured. Oh and Zarres pays them a visit. While Mendoza and Esteban are being treated for their injuries in prison infirmary cause Spanish guards felt bad for injuring a child and the kids were fucking distraught at Mendoza being fucking shot. (Not mortally wounded but still a body shot is OWIE and deadly if not dealt with right and 16th century is ass for proper healing. Anyway we get the Zia healer arc as she's trying hard to remember stuff Papacamayo taught her.
Anyway, Zarres shows up and is interested in Tao because he knows everything about the medallions and stuff but the kids aren't having none of it from the scary bastard and they really do not want to leave Mendoza in the hands of Spanish doctors cause let's be so for real nobody fucking likes Mendoza after his betrayal of the country so obviously some one pays off. A doctor to try and kill him (Zarres probably) Pedro and Sancho save him because yes.
Anyway Guess what Gomez and Gaspard come back. All is forgiven for them after they explain that it was all Mendozas fault. Now basically everyone hates Mendoza cause ew betrayer L.
Some other stuff happens between Zarres switching between ambrosius and Zarres and manipulating Tao mostly but also trying very hard to convince Esteban and Zia to help with finding the rest of the cities which they refuse to do without Mendoza cause idk in this au I feel they might've instead traveled back to Spain together instead of what happened at the end of S1 where they went their separate ways and he truly becomes daddoza™ (the reason the adults are in prison is because when they returned and the orichalcum sack was found by Spanish soldiers they got greedy and went haha you're now a betrayer cause U kept if for yourself when he supposed to give it to the king.)
Blah blah Mendoza gets healed. Zia is satisfied she did a good job. Ambrosius does his cunning getting close to the children because he's the only nice person there or whatever and the children grow to trust him and also he uses his Zarres persona to scare them into following his ideas as ambrosius in finding the cities. Spanish guards are sus asf and Gomez hates ambrosius and Zarres.
Eventually they do start the journey for the cities and use the condor and Ambrosius's ship. Gomez is the first to find out that Zarres is Ambrosius. He keeps it to himself cause like fuck you Mendoza. I know this two person dude hates you and has tried to kill you plenty of times now but I actually just hate you more than him that I won't tell you what's wrong. Oh but I will actively try and convince the kids to kinda be cautious of ambrosius anyway because like idk I want them on my side now.
Btw Sandro Pedro and Mendoza are still all prisoners but now on Ambrosius's ship. Cause the kids were like we're only bringing y'all along of we can bring our fam too ight?
Mostly cause they hate Gomez and Gaspard cause U know what they did in S1 oml. And ambrosius kinda has to agree to keep the kids on his side.
Basically the hierarchy of power and control for this au is like:
Zarres > Gomez > Ambrosius > Gaspard + Spaniard soldiers > Mendoza, Sancho and Pedro > The kids.
All other characters fit in the different sections depending on their status in their culture etc. this includes Laguerra (she's probably right after Gomez cause of her connection to the king but she's also under Ambrosius/Zarres depending on situation. She moves frequently.
* Gomez is also technically at the head of the food chain when he finds out that Zarres and ambrosius is the same dude. Cause leverageee.

Hi ! I saw one of your posts about the mysterious golden cities and it pleases me to know I'm not alone either ! This series deserves so much more ! So, I'm actually doing it...I'm writing a fic about it that might be a little bit weird (in the sense that the trio is 19 and that Esteban and Zia aren't together, I don't like the trope of a girl and a boy IMMEDIATELY getting together just because of their gender).
