[Tony walking into the kitchen at the Compound where Natasha, Peter and Y/N are sitting]
Tony, standing by the door, looking at the dog on the counter: Why is the dog on the counter?
Peter, having found the dog after school, on his way to the compound: He likes to be tall.
*Y/N, slowly looks at Natasha*
Natasha, side eyeing and glaring at Y/N: Donât. Donât even think about it.
Y/N, mumbling: I wasnât going to pick you up and put you on the counterâŚ.
Y/N, after a pause: But youâd like to be tall for a moment wouldnât you-
*Natasha, tackles Y/N to the floor whilst Tony laughs and tells FRIDAY to film them*
Ao3 tips:
- Install a skin.  This makes it less scary to read ao3 in public, and hurts your eyes way less.  I recommend trying out Snow Blue, Reversi, and Dusted Off, but if you donât like any of them you can use the Allmighty Skin Wizard to make your own skin.
- If you do use a skin, CRANK THAT FUCKING FONT SIZE UP.  Your sleep schedule wonât thank me: itâll get you reading longer.
- Consider installing a remove kudos button.  Iâm serious. Iâve had so much more fun both writing and reading fic ever since I removed the kudos counter from ao3.   It really isnât the indicator of quality you think it is, (more like an indicator if the fic has the fandomâs OTP in it) and you can still sort by kudos if youâd like!Â
- Bookmark your searches.   I have a search bookmarked for all of my fandoms that excludes my NOTPs and all the tropes I dislike.  If Iâm in a rare mood where I want to read for a pairing Iâm ambivalent about, I can always re-include them.  It isnât passing judgement on the ship/trope (unless you want it to be >:) ), its just saving future you some times.
- User subscribe to your favorite authors! âBut Tenko! They post a lot of shit I donât care about!â  Thats the thing:  you can use email filters to only get notified for stuff you like.   One of my favorite authors posts Re:Zero a lot, which I have never watched and have no desire to (no judgement to the fans, the art style is not my thing). But ever since I blocked the keyword, I have mostly forgotten that that author posts anything but the fandoms I care about.   I never subscribe to actual works, just authors.
- Make a second account for commenting if you feel shy!  Second accounts are explicitly allowed and encouraged by the ao3 team. If that helps you feel more comfy chatting with your favorite authors, whats stopping you?
- Bookmarks are your friend.  Bookmark every fic you could actually see yourself rereading- then when you are in the mood to reread fic, you can search your own personal rec list, curated by you!
- Ao3 savior, while a bit complicated to set up, can help you block those ships/tags you donât want to see under any circumstances.  Goodbye! X reader one-shot collections!  I donât have to scroll past you anymore.
- If you want some good old F/F (or M/F depending on your fandom) thats usually relegated to a background pairing, donât use OTP:True.  Go to exclude, categories, and then exclude M/M and Other. Bam! You get both Gen and F/F works about that character.
Thats it for today, a drabble is precisely 100 words, byeeee!
Do you know the trope where two people fake a relationship for some undercover mission, right?
Well, I need a fic like this but as Tony and Peter pretending to be father and son.
At the start they are very uncomfortable with each other and even though they already know eachother, their relationship is more as a mentor/student, more professional (but they still care about the other). Precisely for this reason, the first days are difficult: Peter doesn't want to disappoint Tony again because of homecoming and thinks he's just a burden, while Tony is scared to get close because he thinks he's not a good person and is scared he will end up like his dad because Peter doesn't deserve that (yeah he's already thinking as his father). As expected they don't spoke about their fears, but after living together for a while and slowly as the mission progresses, they begin to get close inevitably, becoming more protective of each other and getting more attached. Faking their father and son relationship is more and more easy through the domestic things they do together, but when they come back from the mission one of them remains hurt. Tony/Peter is going crazy and when the ambulance arrives they're just like "SAVE MY KID/MY DAD" even though they just don't have to fake it anymore. After recovering, Both of them is acting as they acted for the past weeks and everyone (May, Pepper, Rhodey and Happy) is like "since uh when", but Tony and Peter doesn't seem to notice their respective behaviour for days, until Peter calls him Dad.
He didn't mean that, it just slipped away because that's how he called him for weeks, but as soon as he said that word they just stared at each other for one minute. Tony tries to comfort him when Peter starts to panic, saying it was normal after the mission, however Peter does not calm down and confess he sees him like his dad, and is ready to leave when Tony is shocked and remains still.
But just before running away, the man stops him and reaches him and tells him he's not the only one to think that way. They're both emotionally constipated, yet they end up hugging (and Tony kisses his forehead because I'm a sucker for that trope).
At the end they accept their respective role in the other's life and they are closer than ever. Happily ever after (until infinity war).
This is a physical need, give to me a fanfiction like this or there will be consequences.
i want to read but i also donât want to read but i also want to read but i also donât want to readÂ

Prompt
A magical train takes each passenger exactly where they need to go most at that moment. The sitch is that the train can only be used once (many have made the mistake of using their one try at an inconvenient time and ending up at the nearest bathroom or grocery store). When the MCâs life is at its lowest pointâ theyâve lost their job, their significant other dumped them, theyâre soon to be evicted from their apartment, etc.â they get on the train. They exit at a place theyâve never seen before; it doesnât even look like Earth.

If Kamala donât say âThis is like that one Fanfic i wroteâ, while fighting something, then what is even the point of The Marvels
Tony: We call that a traumatic experience.
Tony, turning to Peter: Not a "bruh moment".
Tony, turning to Kate: Not "sadge".
Tony, turning to Y/n: And DEFINITELY not an "oof LMAO".

The process of writing a book:
Have a beginning
Have an end
but WHEREâS THE MIDDLE
HOW DO I GET THERE
WHAT IS A PLOT
UGHHHH WHAT ARE MY CHARACTERS DOING
WhAt ArE wOrDs
Get new story idea and abandon current writing

How much y'all wanna bet that Steve made up that whole story about having sex, and told Bruce it to make himself look better, and he really is still a virgin. Besides Bruce definitely seems like the most gullible of the group.
(I'm not in denial, you're in denial)
Those enhanced senses could either be a blessing or an annoyance depending on how they're used. đ
Also, F.R.I.D.A.Y. ... Not helping! đ
Also, again, Tony has a new favorite mug.

ahh yes, the writing process
Iâm already seeing male reactors get very verbally defensive about that scene in She-Hulk where Jennifer describes how, simply as a woman, she has more experience in suppressing rage than Banner because speaking out will get you labelled âhystericalâ, âemotionalâ, âdifficultâ, âtoo much of a feministâ, the list goes on. And if you snap back at the wrong cat-caller, you can get murdered. So now mcu bros are rushing at the opportunity to cry out âthis is just another âmarvel throwing in another woke scene for wokeâs sakeâ. But likeâŚit isnât untrue. Comic nerds are all for female superhero protagonists until she, god forbids, talks about the dynamics of what itâs like to live within the confines of patriarchy.
MCU fans are always clamoring for the social commentary to be more âsubtleâ and not so âin-your-faceâ, just so they can mindlessly enjoy a punchy fighty show and not have to confront any real-world intersections with racism, misogyny, xenophobia, transphobia, all the -isms and -phobias you can imagine. Additionally, even when the social criticisms are embedded into the story, the conflicts are routinely either overlooked or watered-down and discussed at the individual-level as if these are just isolated incidents and not reflective of larger phenomena. Dudebros forget that superhero comic media, from the very beginning, has always been political. A lot of the mainstream characters we know and love today were created in response to the anti-war and peace movements during the seventies in the United States (this is also not to say that there isnât some definite war propaganda and Red Scare-inspired comics out there either).
Comics are teaching grounds for morality, human good, and bad, power, greed, corruption. Comics have been about the social commentary from the get-go. The idea that the government (and by extent society at large) is villainizing and surveilling a specific minority group who carry varying physical and genetic traits contrasting to that of the âideal national subjectâ because of a perceived inherent aggression or difference based on their physical attributes *ahem ahem mutants*âŚwhere do you think they got that from?
I literally sat through a dude being like âIN MY EXPERIENCE AS A MAN, THAT IS NEVER THE CASE! IF A WOMAN GETS UPSET AND MAKES A SCENE IN PUBLIC, THE MAN ALWAYS LOOKS LIKE THE BAD GUY BECAUSE IT IS ASSUMED HE DID SOMETHING WRONG. MEN ARE THE ONES WHO CAN NEVER BE ANGRY.â (Obviously for Black men, my argument is different because when Black men express rage, they are viewed as a threat or turned into spectacle, but the person who made this rant was not a Black man, nor was he factoring race into his argument). As if masculinity and gratuitous violence have not become nearly synonymous. When male celebrities are accused of beating their partners, fans run to their defense to say âwell she shouldnât have provoked him.â When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, the internet rooted for a televised boxing match between the actors/comedians. We all watched the Trump and Hillary debates right, where his belligerent behavior was coddled while she had to maintain composure?
Weâve collectively grown up watching male newscasters, talk show hosts, and reporters make jokes about angry women in sports, in the media or in news reports being on their periods, as a way to minimize the stressful and abusive circumstances, or people, women are subjected to. The world expects women to react to harassment with class and elegance; womenâs anger, Black women especially, is never not mitigated. For male fans to come away from that scene wanting to eye roll is why the commentary is so âin-your-faceâ because a lot of yâall still donât get it! Men are still finding ways to make womenâs issues about them and the âlossâ of their rights. In a world where Brock Turners are able to walk free, are you really trying to argue against this scene? Really? What else do you expect out of a series whose main character is AN ATTORNEY? Yâall are just not going to enjoy this series then, as per usual.
