New cast members!
Side cast:
Amadeus Cho
Age: 16
Sex: Male
Alias: The masked beetle or “beetle”
Powers: Amadeus wears a Red and silver insect inspired suit of armor that he can access by clicking on his belt buckle. This armor grants him flight, enhanced strength and energy based weapons, from laser guns to wrist mounted laser swords the beetle can do it all.
Background: Amadeus… Amadeus is a dick sometimes, he's called the next boy genius by multiple people due to the fact he is extremely intelligent, however he's also kind of egotistical, so when he sees Spider-Man out and about being a hero he decides to try and one up him, so he builds himself his own suit of armor taking inspiration from Beetle's as well as tokusatu heroes. He and Peter don't exactly get along at first and Amadeus is out right antagonistic towards Spider-Man trying to show that he is the better hero, yet as the two grow and become heroes Amadeus lightens up and truly learns what it means to be a superhero.
Rogues gallery:
Otto Octavious
Age: 65
Sex: male
Alias: Dr. Octopus
Powers: Otto is psychologically linked to a pair of six metal tendrils that he uses to propel himself at greater speed, they also grant him extended reach and the ability to lift objects that he normally couldn't… as well as a high pressure beam of water that he stores in the tendrils that is so dense it send anyone 20 feet away.
Background: Octavious is someone Peter trusts deeply, he was his professor and at first the one who helped him design the early form of web shooters, which were originally a proposal of Peter's that was supposed to be used by construction workers to spray an adhesive that would allow the structure to hold more soundly, as well as being able to flip to another setting to release a high pressure beam of water. However, Octavious was an aging man, his body already began to fail him, to the point he would be in a wheelchair at 70, if not a thinking potato at 75. Otto did not want that to be his fate, so he would ask Peter to help him build their greatest creation yet, an exoskeleton that would allow even someone with Gorgon's disease to move again, however it was still experimental, and by the time Otto and Peter would finish… Otto would be trapped in his own body, so he rushed and attached it to himself early, it worked, but the exoskeletons central ai wasn't, it was linked into his mind but it was corrupted due to the fact it wasn't finished, and soon Otto went mad, as he began creating its tendrils, stealing from Peter's web shooter design Otto created his notorious mechanical tendrils as his thoughts weren't his own, it was something darker… something evil.
Martin Li gate
Age: 32
Sex: male
Alias: Mr. Negative
Powers: Martin Lee is a human who has tapped into the cosmic forces of the radiance and the void, or “the light force” and “the dark force”. with both in hand he can create portals that he can walk through, constructs of pure light and shadow that he uses to fight, and his most potent ability which allows him to create a mask that when placed on an individual amplifies their physical power but also reverses their current qualities and makes them the inverse of who they were, good turn bad, bad turn good, alls the same when the coin is flipped.
Background: Martin was a philanthropist and a playboy, almost rivaling Anthony Stark in their popularity. However at first Martin truly wanted to make a difference, he invested in charities to aid the ill and businesses that would help others, he even supported a movement that would radically alter the police and their methods as well as threatening most of the New York criminal underworld. This caught the attention of the kingpin and unfortunately it led to Martin almost dying, but as he was on his way to the afterlife, the primal forces of light and shadow both saw promise in him and chose him as their avatar. However he could not handle both powers and thus his psyche broke, as he returned as the black and white oni, Mr. Negative.
Mephistopheles, the red daemon
Age:???
Sex:??? Is referred to as male
Alias: the destroyer of stories, one of nine kings of hell, he has… MANY titles all of which are more elaborate and head hurting than the last.
Powers: Mephistopheles has the ability to distort the web of fate using his demonic magic. He twists the thread of time and space to make him an eternal constant, essentially making him immortal as he exists forever; one would have to destroy him in the past, present, and future to remove him from that world. Along with that he is emblazoned with the spirit of tricksters. This gives Mephistopheles the power to deceive whoever he wishes so long as his will is greater than theirs.
Background: Mephistopheles or mephisto is an ancient demon who has plagued midgar and is only rivaled in his cunning by Loki. Mephisto is the eternal spirit of deceit or the “King of fraud”. He is Anansi's enemy, they at first knew nothing of each other but they are both granted the power of the trickster. They are eternal opposites, one represents the telling of stories, the other represents their destruction, thus the two are forever locked in an eternal feud, where their champions battle over and over again, which has resulted in anyone who is Anansi's champion to be faced with great trials, made by mephisto. Yet of all the champions, the one mephisto hates most of all, it is Peter, because no matter how many times he tries to ruin Peter's life to the point Spider-Man doesn't exist in the future, there is always SOMEONE who is tied to peter that will stop Mephisto.
The road map of the story
Season 5: this is another season that doesn't have a main villain, until the second half, in which the first segment is Peter hearing rumors of people in “black costumes” causing chaos, specifically the most recent case of this strange black costumed individual being an escaped murderer, Mac gargon.
Peter begins to hunt down Mac while also helping Doctor octavius build the exoskeleton he had asked Peter to help him back in season 3 (which he would also occasionally be seen working in the first half of season 4) as this continues to build Peter and Otto's connection.
Back to the hunt on gargon Peter winds up finding him as gargon doesn't seem to be acting the usual way he was, as this is a side effect of the symbiote, if a person's mental state is too brittle (such as Mac being a murderer who does not have the best mental strength) then the host becomes by the symbiote as Peter finds out the entire reason why the symbiote was going from host to host was because it was trying to find the most compatible host but so far none of them could connect with it as well as Peter.
So the symbiote like a clingy ex (which Peter makes a qwuip of specifically) tries everything to lure Peter out and attach itself to him again.
Thus the fight is on as Peter tries to defeat the symbiote without allowing prolonged contact, however the symbiote adapts, creating a scorpions tail that winds up striking Peter in the shoulder, lodging itself and nearly letting the symbiote attach itself to him again, until Peter almost acting out of instinct punches gargon in the face causing him to lose balance but Peter could that if it wasn't for the symbiote… he would have punched Mac’s jaw off.
This causes Peter to pause only to quickly get back in the fight as he remembered what helped him remove the symbiote, loud noises. And so with some parker ingenuity he disconnects one of the canisters for his web fluid and chucks it at the wall next to a still dazed gargon, causing the canister to explode in a burst of webbing both capturing gargon and causing the symbiote to flee.
Peter being exhausted to chase it down and now having to deal with gargon only had to hope the symbiote didn't find anyone else…
Until it finds one Edward Brock, at a local church he used to visit as he prayed to God to grant him the ability to finally stop Spider-Man and put him down, only for “god” to seemingly answer as the symbiote attaches to him.
The black spider finale: this is still within season 5 but I believe it is imperative to have this finale be separated to make it apparent that this is one of the big arcs, as when Eddie combined with the symbiote he learns a few… interesting details, details we will not be privy too until later on.
But when Peter sees Eddie next, his old is oddly cheerful, as if his spirits had been lifted, as he pulls peter in close and whispers “we know who you are Peter”.
This shakes Peter more than it should, as despite him trying to play dumb Eddie doesn't buy it. Peter now learning… Eddie knows he's Spider-Man, but he doesn't know how.
This causes Peter to become paranoid whenever he steps out now, a week goes by after what Eddie told him and nothing happens, no cops show up, no threats appear, no broadcasts revealing his identity, nothing!
Until on a sleepy Saturday, Peter half delirious as he couldn't sleep is suddenly YANKED out of his bedroom window by a black web, a web that resembled those of his web shooters as now stands before almost a one to one duplicate of himself in his costume with only a few different proportions.
“Hey Pete. It's about time we had ourselves a little chat.” The masked figure mutters as now begins the fight scene with the figure tugging on the web before slamming Peter into a building.
Peter barely having time to breathe as he's dragged back before getting punched in the face HARD by the individual.
Peter being sent FLYING as what ensures can only be described as Peter getting his shit ROCKED, the figure beating him to a pulp as the only thing Peter can do is try and escape.
Peter during the entire sequence is on the backfoot as his spider sense isn't working, he didn't have his web shooters on him and in general he was off his game.
Until America Chavez shows up as lady liberator, opening a portal between the two before slugging the black costumed individual in the face with her bat.
This finally gives Peter some breathing room as America manages to open a portal that leads to Peter's apartment which allows him to get his suit on and get his web shooters. As Peters finally in the fight, managing to work in tandem with Ami to deliver a combo that relied on misdirection via Peter flinging chunks of rubble at portals made by Lady Liberator that lead to spots that the offender couldn't keep track of.
This allowed the duo to win the fight with Peter finishing it via wrapping his fist in a web construct gauntlet before punching into the face of the stranger. Only for the suit to be revealed as the symbiote and Eddie as the one underneath.
As that is the ending of season 5 with Peter muttering to himself “Eddie?”
Season 6: so we just wrapped up season 5. We are a little bit past the halfway point before we reach the double digits in terms of seasons. And now it's time for the details we weren't privy to in season 5.
Picking up right where season 5 left off Peter has Eddie webbed up with America managing to trap the symbiote in a jar.
Eddie isn't talking not even while Peter is glaring at him or asking him why he was doing all this, before finally Peter asks “is it because of Gwen?”
That gets Eddie talking, of course it was about Gwen… and I'm gonna just have Eddie say this.
“Yes it's because of Gwen, she was my sister, she died on that bridge because of you, because you dragged her into this, because you just had to be good ol petey and not think ahead! When I had that thing grasp onto me It had a look into my head and I had a look into everyone else's, especially yours.”
“Then you know I didn't mean to-”
“OFCOURSE I KNOW! DO YOU THINK THAT MATTERS?! MY SISTER IS DEAD, SHE DIDN'T DIE OF OLD AGE PETE, SHE DIDN'T GET TO GO TO COLLEGE, SHE DIDN'T GET TO BE WHO SHE WANTED TO BE, BECAUSE YOU LET HER DIE. YOU LET HER PUT HERSELF IN DANGER AND YOU- YOU-... Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't it have been you, it should have been you, that was your fight not hers!”
… That exchange causes an air of silence before Peter looks at Eddie, the look in his friends eyes only widening a hole in his stomach.
For now Peter is in a bit of a rock and a hard place. If he lets Eddie go he could run to the police, but where could he put him? It's not like there was a prison he could shove his friend into, nor would he be able to let himself do that.
He'd have to lay low, that is until one bald headed eye patch wearing mothafucker known as Nick fury shows up. But this isn't the commander of S.H.I.E.L.D yet as in this case Nick works for S.I.D.E (Supernatural Intelligence Division and Espionage) as Nick was gathering Intel on America Chavez before tracking her to this location, and seeing how Peter is in a bit of a problem, Nick offers him a deal, he’ll keep Eddie in a small psychiatric rehabilitation zone just as long as Peter agrees to do Nick a few favors that may be coming up soon, with the rise of space travel and all.
Hesitantly Peter agrees albeit he's not certain on if he can trust fury.
As for the rest of the season… yeah I wasn't building up otto for no reason, season 6 is the otto octavius arc as THIS is where Peter gets punched emotionally in the gut again, and again (cause I am a bit of sadist and hey suffering builds character am I right or am I right?... ok I'll shut the fuck up)
So for the rest of the arc this is going to be mostly helping continuing to build peters dynamics as Peter tries to spend more time with may, Jonah to hopefully get him to change his opinions on spidey (as well as Jonah taking Peter under his wing) but most importantly it has Peter spending time with Otto as Peter sees his teacher deteriorate physically.
This also has Peter trying to spend time with Harry as alongside Otto, Harry is deteriorating in health, Gorgon's disease already causing him to walk with cane yet despite that Harry seems chipper, happy to have his father back as his dad seemed truly cured.
But with Peter and Otto, dr octavius is trying his best to help the project go faster but eventually he becomes desperate and when Peter is away he attaches himself to the exoskeleton. For a moment he's alive again, he can move again, he can live again! Even Peter discovers and is excited at the news… well that is until Otto begins to change. Becoming more paranoid and agitated as well as beginning to invent strange mechanical tendrils.
Those tendrils soon attaching to his exoskeleton as finally Dr octopus is out. As his first act of villainy is using the city's power to create something that will let Otto live forever.
The exoskeleton is evil, it's AI is corrupted but it just doesn't make Otto suddenly evil, it preys on his fear and so Peter when he finds out has to stop him.
Again like the finale of season 5 this fight is going to feel less like a brawl and more like Peter struggling. With the venom fight it was because of venom going all out not letting Peter get a moment to breathe but in this case it's almost the opposite as Peter is in control of the tempo of the fight but also out he's trying to restrain and talk otto down, trying to reach him but it doesn't work, because despite how many attempts Peter tries to talk to the man beneath the villain, Octavius is lost to himself as the AI has fully taken control of him and turns him into an almost logic defying maniac.
And so Peter gets sent on the back foot as him trying to reason with octavius nearly cost him the fight as Octavius reveals he's given the tendrils he uses his own version of peters web shooters which are based on the original prototype that Peter suggested.
This causes the fight to become much more problematic as whenever Peter tries to web up one of Octavius's tendrils it just fires a beam of high pressure water at it, completely dissolving it and one of the beams winds up hitting Peter in the leg, thankfully not piercing but causing Peter to be a disadvantage as he becomes a lot less nimble.
Eventually though as Peter is trapped underneath a tendril, Otto reveals he knows Peter's identity, he knew since Spider-Man first made his debut, only Peter suggested a device that could be feasible similar to the tech spider-man used, only spider-man would have any reason to cause Peter to leave when the goblin appeared. He pieced it together and the words that left Otto's mouth made Peter's blood run cold.
“You thought you were so clever, you thought I wouldn't notice? Instead of helping me, instead of being responsible and helping me finish the device you decided to play hero, you decided to put your friends lives at risk Peter. You've failed because you aren't as clever as you believe yourself to be”
This only hammered in Peter’s shame when it came to losing Gwen, to not being able to cure Norman in time, to causing Eddie to go down the path he went… and now it cost him his teacher…
What was he thinking? He couldn't do this, he wasn't strong enough to beat the weight, he couldn't-
No… what was he doing? He couldn't give up, he wouldn't.
With Peter managing to break free from the tendrils grasp, he wrapped his arms around it before tearing it off causing Otto to lose balance. Peter beginning to remove each tendril whether it be luring them to strike each other or breaking them apart, until eventually it was just octavius.
Peter could only do one thing to help him, he was going to have to get the cops involved. And so Otto octavius is arrested and sent to a mental hospital as Peter is left there. Standing on a rooftop watching over at all until one Felicia Hardy appears and of course the two have some banter.
The last few episodes of the season is actually Peter and Felicia spending some time together, throughout the past seasons Peter had had his hands full and while he wasn't exactly in the mood to talk with Felicia he couldn't deny he needed something to help destress. And so then that ends season 6.
Now with these past 6 seasons I would say this would be a good collection to have the series end. It doesn't end on a cliffhanger and it ends on a somewhat satisfying conclusion but I haven't introduced MJ yet and I feel like getting that done plus I really wanna reference Spider-Man unlimited because that show was something I adore and I feel like the high evolutionary would be a fun little villain to throw in but that's coming in season 9 time for season 7!
Season 7: okay so from season 1 to season 6 that is roughly a few months if not the entire year of the story taking place there and throughout that Peter was dealing with high school however season 7 takes place after he's graduated as in this continuity he would already be a senior in high school along with his friends. However only Peter and Harry graduate when they reach the end of the school year when it comes to their friend group. (And before anyone asks Felicia doesn't attend their highschool)
Season 7 kicks off with Spider-Man swinging around town now more comfortable in his usual routine. Stop a couple criminals, chit chat with Ami on top of a roof while enjoying some hot dogs, find black cat robbing a place, have a little banter and then either manage to stop her but only managed to get the bag of valuables she was trying to steal or completely fail to stop her.
So Peter's been spider-man for a year now and he's gotten good at it, however that doesn't mean life's going to get any easier for him. This is when life in New York starts becoming a lot more difficult to live in when it comes to Peter and May, rent gets higher out of the blue to the point may has to sell of some of the stuff she and Ben used to own, as well as Peter having to pick up a second job as a tutor.
Yet still they barely managed to make rent and while all that's happening Harry only seems to get worse and worse in terms of his health. Gorgon's disease beginning to take root fully as Harry begins to not act like himself, he becomes meeker and whenever Peter checks in on him there's always a chance of Harry having an outburst.
The reason as to why is because not only is Harry dying of Gordon's disease it also because of everything that's been happening the last six seasons well Harry hasn't been a prominent Focus he does show up a lot of the times and he is there and with each event that passes he can't help but feel… pathetic.
And it's not exactly like Norman is being any help as after Norman transformed back to normal he's been trying to run the company as well as pressing Dr Connors on his continued research for the cure for Harry.
Harry has continually felt pathetic, like a child needing to be coddled or like an elderly person being babied by a nurse, it's suffocating, utterly suffocating and he hates it.
He hates feeling like this and wants to not be weak anymore… and this is our first introduction to Mephistopheles or “Mephisto” (I call him not to stop please because he's based on the demon from the story of faust and there's a reason why I am now referencing Faust), but he doesn't appear in a burst of flames, no, it's more subtle taking the form of a well dressed man, who approaches Harry one night and offers him a deal.
Since Harry feels strongly about not wanting to be weak anymore he has a gift, a jar containing a strange black and red liquid.
… Yeah this is my introduction of immaculate carnage.
So ya see, the TV show ultimate Spider-Man (and even the insomniac games) had Harry be the host for venom and not Eddie Brock (mostly because the TV show didn't wanna be compared to spectacular Spider-Man and for the insomniac games, I have no idea.)
Now I think the idea is a novel idea and it can be interesting when looking at how it could affect Harry's character development.. but I have a preference for Eddie Brock being the primary host for venom. But I still want to have my cake and eat it too. So guess what?
WE DOING THE RED GOBLIN! Ya see the reason why Mephisto has access to the carnage symbiote is because he managed to steal a piece of the venom symbiote that fell off and Mephisto felt like experimenting (the reason as to why is for when he is the series’s final villain) so when he finds Harry mopping for himself Mephisto felt like being “generous” shall we say.
And so he gives Harry the carnage symbiote, but it's not called carnage yet, that's the word it hears after Harry quite frankly starts fucking shit up.
But before Harry causes a ruckus let's talk about the stuff that happens prior.
Ok so before Harry loses his shit, he actually gets better, the symbiote seems to heal him and completely nullify his Gorgon's disease and when Peter sees it, he's thrilled, he's glad his friend is fine again, even Norman is celebrating the miracle.
But in the back of Peter's mind he can't help but feel like this has happened before… like he's about to be experiencing Otto all over again.
For the time being everything's seemingly great… until eerily familiar cases start happening, people going missing again, this time the only are… puddles of blood.
Immediately Peter feels something in his gut that causes him to assume the worst, so he checks in on Norman, but Norman's fine, he's at home dealing with his business… but Peter can't shake the dread that's in his stomach.
So he goes to the scenes of the disappearances, expecting much like how the kidnappings when the green goblin was on the loose there would be no correlation between victims. But there is, every single blood sample tied back to someone from Peter and Harry's old highschool, from teachers, to bullies, to even lower classmates, Peter was… disturbed on why there was people who was at his old school vanishing until the disappearance of one flash Thompson.
That's when it clicks, all the people who disappeared were people who Harry had a negative relationship with, flash constantly shoved him and Peter during their freshman year before flash dropped out to join the military, some of the teachers gave Harry failing grades or were just frustrating for Harry to deal with, even the lower classmates were people who got on Harry's for constantly disrespecting the school.
It didn't add up, well technically yes it did, but why were these people Harry didn't like, he knew for a fact it wasn't people that he had a negative experience with, yeah he hated flash and hated dealing with lower classmates but some of the teachers he had a good relationship with… that was until Peter was walking home late one from having to tutor, only to be grabbed by a red tendril, now he was face to face with what look like a demon.
This is the red goblin, and Peter was about to be its next victim.
This is not a fight scene as Peter manages to get free and while it tried to attack, it was sloppy, wide claw strikes Peter could side step, tail stabs that Peter could leap over or duck under… it was easy to counter, so with one quick chop to the back of the head the goblin falls, revealing... Harry.
Peter didn't hesitate to take Harry to Nick fury, with Peter beginning to question Harry when he finally woke up.
The following scene is meant to be tense, Harry claiming he doesn't understand what Peter's talking about, peter continuing to question Harry having a hard time believing his friend, asking how in the hell did he get his hands on a symbiote, and over and over again all Harry can do is say “I don't understand, what am I supposed to say?!”
Until Peter finally says “ANYTHING! ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME ASSUME THE WORST! ANYTHING THAT TELLS ME I DO NOT HAVE TO THROW YOU IN HERE FOREVER!”
That's when Peter finally tells Harry everything… well until Harry interrupted him and said “I know”.
Ofcourse Harry knows, it isn't that hard when th daily bugle constantly talks about what's going on with Spider-Man, when Harry sees Peter coming back with bruises trying to brush them off with “I fell that's all”.
Harry knew the moment Peter got in a fight with Eddie when he got the symbiote, he knew that much, he didn't know anything about symbiotes, he barely understood that his dad was the green goblin but he didn't know anything else
This leaves Peter stumped, he doesn't want to lock Harry up, because he knows for a fact Harry wasn't doing this intentionally, but he couldn't just let him go, he jeopardize innocent people… but he didn't want this to be the only way.
There had to be something to help him save his friend and-
At that moment something in the room shifts as Harry begins to hyperventilate, his body begins to be enraptured by the red symbiote as the last thing Harry says is him screaming Peter's name, before the symbiote takes hold. This is where the real havoc is about to start as the red goblin manages to shatter the glass door of its prison and lunges at Peter yet now it actually hits, striking in the chest sending him hurdling towards a wall.
Ya see the red goblin when Peter first fought him wasn't used to peters spider sense, now it's developed a negation to it. As one of the little modifications Mephisto naturally made to the symbiote was that it automatically adapted to whatever beat it last time. Meaning… peters kinda fucked. as not even giving Peter a moment to breathe the goblin lunges at him, grabbing him by the neck and shoving him through the wall causing it to break.
Peter is soon falling, firing his web shooters and about to save himself only to be met with a KICK to the face from the goblin, as it leaped down after him.
The two begin fighting in the sky as they rapidly approach the ground, the goblin being brutal with its attacks as he keeps waiting on Peter, with Pete only managing to get a few punches in before flipping them over as they hit the ground, Peter using the red goblin as a shock absorber.
The moment they land Peter is met with a kick to the gut, sending him flying into a building.
Peter was at major disadvantage and just as Ami showed up to help she's met with a strike sending her flying, only managing to survive due to her portals, as this wasn't going to be as easy as when Ami showed up to help Pete with Eddie.
This was a whole nother beast. The goblin going in to strike America again, only to be stopped by Peters webbing
Yet that only lets the goblin tug Peter towards him and slam him into the ground before flinging him into America.
As the fight goes on both are on the back foot, each time they try to catch the goblin off guard it seems to counter them perfectly.
Until finally when America and Peter are about to lose Peter has to make a rash call, asking America to bring out the symbiote, Ami hesitantly doing so, and the moment the black entity is released it latches onto Peter.
And Peter is back in black.
With that the fights on and now the goblins on the back foot, Peters own attacks more ferocious and add that in with Ami using her portals to cause misdirection the goblin is quickly getting beaten.
Until finally Peter has won, the goblin on the ground, defeated, trying to retreat back into Harry only for Peter to grab it and rip it off his friend, but the moment the parasite that was hiding inside Harry was free Peter saw a glimpse of something… hell, with a man sitting on a throne listening to the melodic screams of the damned.
Peter caught a glimpse of Mephisto, and just like that the carnage symbiote vanished.
Peter was stunned, left dumbfounded at what he just saw, and it seemed the symbiote agreed as it shrank back into its jar, seemingly terrified of its vision it shared.
However that's not where season seven ends, as it ends with Harry being hospitalized and Norman looking on in horror at what happened to his son, as well as sparking the flame of hate for Spider-Man.
That is the end of season 7
OK! THATS A LOT! Lets breathe, season 1-7 have been Peter getting his ass thrown into the emotional blender and while I would love to keep jumping into him getting the shit beaten out of him let's save that for when I do season 9 as that's going to have all the shit with the high evolutionary as well as the entire season that will be the 9th season being an entire homage to my favorite installment of Spider-Man that being Spider-Man unlimited because I love that show for no reason other than it's REALLY cool.
Season 8: ok so theres gonna be a lot of stuff happening so I'm gonna break it down into all three segments that make up this season.
Section 1: Peter checking in on and mending his relationship with Eddie, this is gonna be extremely important when we get to season nine, but for right now this is Peter trying to reconnect with his old friend as he doesn't want to lose anyone else, this is going to be a more slow Burn but at the end of the season Eddie will eventually forgive Peter.
Section 2: new heroes and the new villain. This is going to be introducing Cloak and Dagger, squirrel girl, and Amadeus cho- HOWEVER! the first three are complete side characters, they will show up, have some interactions with Peter and then do their own thing, Amadeus on the other hand? Well he's an upstart superhero who's also a pretentious jackass who's constantly trying to one up Peter, all in his super suit as he calls himself “the beetle”
(ok side tangent originally the beetle was a villain and had nothing to do with Amadeus cho, the entire reason why I'm doing this is because Amadeus was a character in the ultimate Spider-Man TV show and he was the iron spider, I did not feel like having another spider themed hero, plus Amadeus is also only really known for replacing Bruce as the hulk, he has no real superhero identity beyond that, so fuck you I'm making him the beetle both as a Kamen Rider reference and because this is my fanfic I'm allowed to make bad writing choices, I already did it with carnage)
The villain is ofcourse Mr. Negative (which is also why C&D are here because those two are the new chosen avatars of the light and dark) but instead of him being treated as “BBEG beat him up” Peter knows about this guy, he knows who he was and so he tries to reach him, ofcourse Amadeus fucks it up because he just sees villain and goes “get him”, this is where Peter starts being a mentor as he tries to get it through Amadeus’s that being a hero isn't simply just “beat up the bad guy” because some villains still have humanity, they are still people and he should try to help them, because as Peter put it “whats the point of power if you don't have some responsibility”. It takes a while but it gets through to Amadeus, and with the help of cloak and dagger as well squirrel girl, Peter and Amadeus manage to reach Martin, however he's not totally free from being mister negative, as the light and dark still have their hold on him, but cloak and dagger manage to pull enough of the respective forces out of him to where it's… manageable, he still has to pay for his crime though. (Which he does, he donates some of his money to charity as well as turning himself in to the police.)
Section 3: this is the MJ and… I'm not gonna lie I had a hard time figuring out how I wanted to implement her, she was originally going to appear in season 3 but I felt that would be unwise, and I didn't wanna shove her into the story immediately after Gwen died, that felt disrespectful to both writing and the importance of Gwens death, so I decided to make this the season where MJ shows up, she's peters age and May doesn't want Peter to be alone all his life, especially after what happened to Gwen, so she contacts one of her old friends and manages to get Peter a date with Mary Jane.
Now at first Peter is against the idea, he doesn't want to risk someone getting close to him and getting hurt like all the people he cared for, but eventually MJ shows up at his and mays place after Peter comes back from a meeting with Eddie and of course you all know the saying of MJ.
“Congratulations tiger, you hit the jackpot”.
Now do I have some bias towards Peter and Felicia? Yes, I find their chemistry to be extremely good and I enjoy it when Peter has someone who challenges him both as a hero and as a person. However that does not stop me from having MJ as my second favorite love interest for Peter. And I intend to make her the official end game love interest (as much as I would like to say Peter, MJ, and Felicia throuple but I'm pretty sure no one's ready for that conversation and me rambling about how Felicia is getting sandwiched)
So of course Peter and MJ start dating, at first Peter's awkward about it he gets more comfortable around MJ as the date goes on… until rhino shows up and Peter has to ask if he can have a moment to deal with something, and to his surprise, MJ agrees, and she's very patient with, even if he shows back up after the half hour battle with rhino, she got their food to go and simply said “hey let's enjoy the air since we got the chance”. They stroll around town and… the date went well, Peter apologized profusely about leaving her hanging for half an hour but she was very understanding. a second date is assured as finally, FUCKING FINALLY Peter and MJ are officially a couple, thank God (and before anyone asks since I am including Mephisto in the story, no I'm not doing one more day, I hate it just as much as you all. Even if it did give my favorite moment of Peter barely holding back)
And so season 8 ends with Peter and MJ heading out for their third date after Peter successfully managed to help out Martin, as for once Peter is happy.
