Casually remind them you can very easily take this to the next level. And they can earn jail time while you lay back in your chair, having saved yourself and everyone else from a violent criminal.

Your online actions have real life consequences.

Make sure they learn that.

(Just in case there’s a “the police wouldn’t do that” - Yes. They absolutely would.

Or a “I can handle it.” No. That person will continue to harass others as well. And one of them may not be as strong as you. So do it for them and everyone else.

Or a “It’s not that severe.” Yes. It is. People have died because of this. It really is that severe.)

I don’t get the hate some people still have about the reveal that Curly’s full name is Orion Carling. All of the names in the game were either placeholder names or pure fan canon.

The name Orion is not only a great, prissy, pretentious white boy name, which fits Curly nicely (and designates him as just a “part of a set” with his brothers) but the most famous myth of Orion the Hunter has a lot of similarities with Curly’s own story.

Basically, Orion the Hunter was a great marksman in Greek mythology. He fell in love with the goddess Artemis and wanted to remain at her side forever…and in every version of the tale, Artemis kills Orion. In some versions Artemis never returns Orion’s affections and sends a scorpion to kill him, or she does return his love but, while trying to prove her skill at archery and brag to the other gods, she shoots Orion by accident, killing him. Either way, out of bitterness, guilt or love, Artemis refuses to let Orion truly die and immortalises him as constellation. (And sometimes Orion doesn’t want this but is unable to tell her no.)

It feels very similar to Jimmy and Curly’s own dynamic. Curly loving Jimmy (in either a platonic or romantic context depending on how you interpret them) essentially killed him, and how Jimmy himself refused to let Curly die; putting him in the cryo-pod and forcing him to live.

There's no way Will could have thought they had a chance of survival, not with their injuries and the height of the cliff. He also knew the FBI would find them if they stayed in the house and tried to flee, so he chose the only option he felt was left for them: dying together. Mind you, if Will had stayed ashore, he wouldn't have been arrested. He could have handed H to the FBI without thinking twice. He was also in the position to just shove Hannibal off the cliff, carrying out the plan he promised would work: kill Dolarhyde, then Hannibal. But he didn't. He couldn't! He didn't have a plan. He thought that their embrace on the cliff was it. Will chose to spend his last moments with his head on Hannibals chest and his arms around him, listening to his beating heart. He couldn't stomach the idea of living without Hannibal, not again, not after everything that happened, so it ended up in Will pulling them over and Hannibal letting him do it! If he wasn't ready to die there with Will, he would have stepped away from the edge moments before. They both knew, and they were satisfied with their ending. Maybe it wasn't happiness, but it was beautiful. No greater ending than that for a pair like them.

4. Skeletons and creepy effects, basically foreshadowing how they all will die in the end

It really pisses me of when people say things like “Anya could have saved Daisuke if she was still alive”, or “Curly should have found a way to take Anya to a hospital so she could get an abortion, and then she’d be happy”, or “Swansea should have just killed Jimmy with the axe the second Anya told him what he did to her.”

Nothing could have fixed those problems. They couldn’t be brushed aside, buried or “made right”. If you think they could’ve been, you’re just as delusional as Jimmy.

Had Daisuke managed to somehow survive, he would have likely been left in a catatonic state the same as Curly (they already had very few resources left and antiseptic can’t treat electrical burns)

Had Anya somehow made it to a medical facility (and Curly diverted course to do so - as the cost of everyone’s pay) why would that have fixed things for her? She was still hurt physically and emotionally, plus I don’t think some of you realise how traumatic an abortion can be. Even if the pregnancy is unwanted…it doesn’t magically make the memory of the child disappear. (And you will have to live with the knowledge that you ended a life that had all the same potential to hope, dream and live as you do)

Why would Swansea kill Jimmy, even after finding out his crimes? It wouldn’t solve anything, and if they somehow got rescued Swansea would immediately be arrested. (and even if you know a person is a criminal, it’s very hard to “just kill them” unless they are directly attacking you, and your life is on the line.) He had no idea that Anya would lock herself in the med-bay and that Jimmy would send Daisuke though the vent. He should have been watching Daisuke instead of giving up and getting drunk - that was his mistake and it’s why he didn’t care about Jimmy killing him afterwards.

That’s why, in the end, his mind convinced him that him and Curly fixed everything( which implies he still thinks Anya, Swansea, and Daisuke are alive and that they’ll be rescued).

What are these people’s excuse for believing that everything could’ve been fixed.

Here’s the thing: even if Anya didn’t lock herself in the medbay( which lead to Swansea having to mercy kill him and then Jimmy shooting him afterwards. Then Jimmy imagining everyone is alive and puts Curly through more hell by cutting up his part of his leg with a knife while he’s still conscious)

They probably would’ve died due to starvation, dehydration, or due to lack of oxygen. Jimmy’s flaw is that he convinced him that he can fix his mistake of crashing the ship by being their captain. He was trying to convince himself that if he tries his best as captain, they’ll survive long enough for them to be rescued and taken back to Earth. And if they’re rescued, Curly would be taken to a hospital with professionals who’ll fix up Curly’s wounds and make him good as new.

But even he knew the mindset is BS cause he knows he doomed them all.

Pony Express isn’t going to sent help because they don’t care about them. The fact that they haven’t been found immediately means they’re in the middle of nowhere, where there’s no intelligent living beings or ships, in space on an asteroid.

They would have to be the luckiest people if a ship driven by a human( or nonhuman intelligent life form that wouldn’t want to kill, torture, or enslave them) passed by their ship, sees the crashed Tulpar , and helps them get back to Earth.

I’m also bring up this line of dialogue:

The way I see it: Anya isn’t saying that Curly doesn’t care about her when she ask him “what would you have done”.

She’s saying that there’s nothing anyone can do to help her. Unless Curly has a Time Machine so he can prevent Jimmy from assaulting her and getting her pregnant, curly can’t fix this. Even if he drops kicks her in the stomach to make her have a miscarriage and kills Jimmy, she still has to live with her traumatic memories that won’t ever go away. Actually doing all that would make things way worse for her.

If she can’t delete those memories, she at least wants to be a thousand miles away from Jimmy ( doesn’t want him to die; just wants to be far away from him since he terrifies her) so that she can eventually heal. But she has to wait til the haul is over. For the time being, she’s stuck with a dangerous man who terrifies her.

Again, curly can’t magically teleport them to their destination and teleport them again back to Earth. But Curly doesn’t know about the assault.

( based on how genuinely surprised he is when she tells him she’s pregnant and how he was about to ask her who she was sleeping, she didn’t tell him the whole truth. Probably only told him that Jimmy keeps hitting on her. Or maybe Jimmy talked about his attraction towards Anya to Curly or talked about being sexually frustrated. Point is, Curly knows that the only person who would sleep with Anya would be Jimmy. He just doesn’t know it wasn’t consensual cause why the hell would you assume a woman has been raped cause she said she’s pregnant and sad. I think he didn’t get why Anya wanted to prevent Jimmy from getting hold of the gun. He’s dealing with depression, possibly suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, exhaustion due to lack of sleep, regret over his life choices, insomnia, the responsibilities of being a captain, etc. He needed her to explain everything bluntly and she didn’t for multiple reasons. Or maybe he just thought she was just mad at him for having terrible pull-out game and convincing her to have non protective sex with him and now has the irrational fear that Jimmy is going to hurt her. This has nothing to do with the main discussion, sorry lmao)

So of course he believes he can make things better for her.

It hit way too close to home with me and it was just a song about a high school girl who’s really lonely and shy and showed signs of depression( that’s the way i Interpreted the song. Others may see it differently). That song broke me psychological
