im abt to end the ship war okay this is the #truth when mydei and phainon first got together their bedroom dynamic was absolutely phaidei because phainon has this issue where he has to prioritize everyone over himself but mydei is Smart and caught onto this SO fast and after some extensive effort (asking politely One time) phainon agrees to try switching because it'll make mydei happy but then he goes oh Shit actually wait a minute ! and they've just never gone back because phainon learns that it's okay to have wants and mydei likes being that one person The Worldbearer is vulnerable with TRUST me they told me this themselves okay

I keep waiting for the reality of my life to stop hitting me and fully sink in yknow like sometimes I go to get in bed and realize that it’s so much bigger than what I’m used to but also that I own it now and I tell people how excited I am to have those green blackout curtains and then remember that I also bought those. And when I buy an extra pair of sheets or another lamp I don’t feel guilty for taking up space instead I breathe easier because I know exactly where it will go and that it belongs there because it’s mine. The empty dresser in the corner of my bedroom sits there and reminds me that it needs to be refinished and I think about where I’m going to sand it because I have so much space to do so. The boxes that still take up space in the corner of my living room are filled with things I’ve collected since I was a kid and follow me around from place to place and sometimes I think I only hang onto some of them because they remind me of who I used to be and who I could become and it all just feels so unreal to me still
