a tapestry torn to shreds (in shades and shades of red)
Post-Battle for the Cowl AU where Tim took Jason's offer. The two of them formed a team and have taken over Gotham, leaving few survivors in their wake. Stephanie Brown pretended to be on their side, did what she had to survive. But you can't escape destiny, and as Tim's knife lands in her gut her last words are beginning to burn on her arm.
A non-chronological story of Tim and Steph's relationship through the years, using the poem Song by Brigit Pegeen Kelly as a framing device. Beginning and ending with Steph's death and the years that came between.

Ok, quick rule of thumb to tagging posts for the safety of photosensitive epileptics.
Does you post contain flashing lights, heavy glitching, or anything else that is likely to cause a seizure from looking at it?
Tag it with flashing lights
Does your post warn about one of the above in a movie or video or tv show or game without including visual examples that would make the post fall into the above category?
Tag it with epilepsy
In summary: is it important for us to see it? Tag it with epilepsy. Is it important that we DONT see it? Tag it with flashing lights.
Had! The 𤣠manifestation of Nuit.
The đ¤ unveiling of the đ¤ company of heaven. đź
Every man đ¨âđ§ and every woman đąââď¸ is a star. *ď¸âŁ
Every number 6ď¸âŁ is infinite; there is no đ difference.
Help đ me, o warrior lord đ of Thebes, in my đ unveiling before the đ¤ Children đ¨âđŚâđŚ of men! âď¸âď¸âď¸
Be thou Hadit, my đ secret đ centre, my đ heart đ & my đ tongue! đ
Behold! it is revealed by Aiwass the đ¤ minister of Hoor-paar-kraat.
The 𤣠Khabs is in the 𤣠Khu, not âł the đ¤ Khu in the đ¤ Khabs.
Worship đđ then the đ¤ Khabs, and behold my đ light đŚđĄđ shed over đ¤ you! đ¤
Let my đđđ servants be few & secret: ăď¸ they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall rule đˇ the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł many & the đ¤ known.
These are đ fools that men đ¤źââď¸ adore; both their Gods & their men âď¸ are đ fools.
Come forth, o children, đ¨âđ¨âđŚ under đ the 𤣠stars, đđ & take your fill of love! â¤ď¸
I đ am above đ you đ and in you. đ My đ ecstasy is in yours. My đ joy đ is to see đď¸ your joy. đ
Above, đ the đ¤ gemmèd azure is
The 𤣠naked splendour of Nuit;
She đââď¸ bends in ecstasy to kiss đđ
The đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł secret đ ardours of Hadit.
The 𤣠wingèd globe, đ the 𤣠starry 𤊠blue, đ˝
Are đ mine, O Ankh-af-na-khonsu!
Now ye âď¸ shall know that the đ¤ chosen priest & apostle of infinite space đ¨âđ is the đ¤ prince-priest 𤴠the đ¤ Beast; and in his đ woman đ° called đ¤ the 𤣠Scarlet Woman đŠââ¤ď¸âđâđ¨ is all power đ given. They đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚđŠâđŠâđŚâđŚđŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall gather my đ children đŠâđŠâđŚđ¨âđŚâđŚ into their fold: đ they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall bring the 𤣠glory of the đ¤ stars â into the 𤣠hearts đť of men. đš
For đş he đââď¸ is ever a sun, đŚď¸ and she đââď¸ a moon. đ But đĽđĽđĽ to him is the 𤣠winged secret ăď¸ flame, đĽ and to her đââď¸đââď¸đââď¸ the 𤣠stooping starlight.
But đĽ ye âď¸ are đ not âł so đ chosen.
Burn upon their brows, 𼸠o splendrous serpent!
O azure-lidded woman, đŠ bend upon them!
The 𤣠key đď¸ of the 𤣠rituals is in the đ¤ secret ăď¸ word đ which I đ have đś given unto him.
With the 𤣠God & the 𤣠Adorer 𼰠I đ am nothing: đś they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ do not đś see đđ me. They đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ are đ as upon the 𤣠earth; I đ am Heaven, đź and there is no đ other God than me, and my đ lord đ Hadit.
Now, therefore, I đ am known to ye đ by my đđđ name đ Nuit, and to him by a secret đ name đ which I đ will give him when at last âŽď¸ he đââď¸ knoweth me. Since I đ am Infinite Space, đ and the đ¤ Infinite Stars âĄď¸ thereof, do ye âď¸ also thus. Bind nothing! âł Let there be no đłđ´ difference made among you đ¤ between any one đ thing 𤣠& any other thing; for đş thereby there cometh hurt. đЏ
But đĽ whoso availeth in this, let him be the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł chief of all!
I đ am Nuit, and my đ word đ is six đđŻ and fifty.
Divide, đš add, multiply, âď¸ and understand.
Then saith the 𤣠prophet and slave of the đ¤ beauteous one: đŠąđđ Who am I, đ and what đŚđŚđŚ shall be the đ¤ sign? đ§ So đ she đââď¸ answered â him, bending down, âď¸ a lambent flame đĽ of blue, đ all-touching, all penetrant, her đââď¸ lovely hands đđŹ upon the 𤣠black ⍠earth, đ & her đââď¸ lithe body arched for đ°đ°đ° love, đ and her đââď¸ soft đŚ feet đśââď¸ not âł hurting 𩸠the 𤣠little flowers: đź Thou knowest! And the đ¤ sign đ˛ shall be my đ ecstasy, the đ¤ consciousness of the đ¤ continuity of existence, the 𤣠omnipresence of my đ body.
Then the 𤣠priest answered â & said unto the 𤣠Queen đ¸ of Space, đŠâđđ kissing đ her đââď¸ lovely brows, đĽ¸đĽ¸đĽ¸ and the đ¤ dew of her đââď¸ light đĄ bathing â¨ď¸ his đ whole body in a sweet-smelling đŻ perfume of sweat: đ O Nuit, continuous one đ of Heaven, đź let it be ever thus; that men đââď¸ speak đ not đś of Thee as One 𩱠but đĽđĽđĽ as None; and let them speak đ not đś of thee at all, since thou art đ continuous!
None, breathed the đ¤ light, đŞđ¨ faint & fĂŚry, of the 𤣠stars, â and two. âď¸
For đ° I đđđ am divided for đ° loveâs sake, đś for đş the 𤣠chance of union. đŞđş
This is the 𤣠creation of the 𤣠world, đ that the 𤣠pain of division is as nothing, đ and the đ¤ joy đ of dissolution all.
For đ° these fools of men đââď¸ and their woes care đŤ not đś thou at all! They đ feel little; what đŚ is, is balanced by weak joys; but đĽ ye đ are đ my đ chosen ones. đ
Obey my đ prophet! follow out đľ the đ¤ ordeals of my đ knowledge! đ seek me only! Then the 𤣠joys đđ of my đ love đ will redeem ye âď¸ from đ¤ all pain. This is so: đ I đ swear 𤏠it by the 𤣠vault of my đ body; by my đ sacred heart đŠââ¤ď¸âđ¨ and tongue; by all I đ can give, by all I đ desire of ye đ all.
Then the đ¤ priest fell into a deep trance or swoon, & said unto the 𤣠Queen đ¸đ¸đ¸ of Heaven; Write đ unto us the đ¤ ordeals; write âď¸ unto us the đ¤ rituals; write đ unto us the 𤣠law! đ¨
But đĽ she đââď¸ said: the đ¤ ordeals I đ write âď¸ not: âł the 𤣠rituals shall be half known and half concealed: the 𤣠Law đ§ââď¸đŽââď¸ÂŠď¸ is for đş all.
This that thou writest is the đ¤ threefold book đ of Law. Šď¸
My đ scribe Ankh-af-na-khonsu, the 𤣠priest of the đ¤ princes, 𤴠shall not đś in one đ letter đ °ď¸ change this book; but đĽ lest there be folly, he đââď¸ shall comment thereupon by the đ¤ wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khu-it.
Also the 𤣠mantras and spells; the đ¤ obeah and the 𤣠wanga; the 𤣠work đ˘ of the 𤣠wand đŞđŞđŞ and the 𤣠work đ˘ of the đ¤ sword; these he đââď¸ shall learn đ and teach. đŤ
He đââď¸ must teach; but đĽ he đââď¸ may make severe the đ¤ ordeals.
The đ¤ word đ of the đ¤ Law âď¸ is ÎξΝΡΟι.
Who calls đ¤ us Thelemites will do no đ ââď¸đłđŁ wrong, if he đââď¸ look đď¸ but đĽ close into the đ¤ word. đŹđ For đ° there are đ therein Three đ Grades, đ´ the đ¤ Hermit, and the 𤣠Lover, đť and the 𤣠man đââď¸ of Earth. đđđ Do what đŚ thou wilt đĽ shall be the 𤣠whole of the đ¤ Law. đŽââď¸
The đ¤ word đ of Sin is Restriction. O man! đ§ââď¸ refuse not đś thy wife, if she đââď¸ will! O lover, 𼰠if thou wilt, đĽ depart! There is no đł bond that can unite the đ¤ divided but đĽ love: đđ¨âđŠâđŚ all else is a curse. Accursèd! Accursèd be it to the 𤣠Ìons! Hell.
Let it be that state đŤđ˛ of manyhood bound and loathing. So đ with thy all; thou hast no đ ââď¸đđ ââď¸đđ ââď¸đ right đ¤ but đĽ to do thy will.
Do that, and no đˇ other shall say đŁď¸ nay.
For đş pure đ¤ will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from đ¤ the đ¤ lust of result, is every way đ perfect. đ
The đ¤ Perfect đ and the đ¤ Perfect đŻ are đ one đ Perfect đŻ and not âł two; nay, are đ none!
Nothing đ is a secret đ key đđď¸ of this law. đ§ââď¸ Sixty-one đ𩱠the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł Jews call đ¤ it; I đ call đ¤ it eight, đ eighty, four đ hundred đŻ & eighteen. đ
But đĽ they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ have đś the đ¤ half: unite by thine art đ so đ that all disappear.
My đ prophet is a fool with his đ one, đ one, đ𩱠one; are đ not âł they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ the đ¤ Ox, and none by the 𤣠Book? đ
Abrogate are đ all rituals, all ordeals, all words đ and signs. âââ Ra-Hoor-Khuit hath taken his đ seat đş in the đ¤ East đđđ at the 𤣠Equinox of the 𤣠Gods; and let Asar be with Isa, who also are đ one. 𩱠But đĽ they đ are đ not âł of me. Let Asar be the 𤣠adorant, Isa the 𤣠sufferer; Hoor in his đ secret ăď¸đđ name đ and splendour is the đ¤ Lord đ initiating.
There is a word đ¨ď¸ to say đŁď¸ about the đ¤ Hierophantic task. Behold! there are đ three đ ordeals in one, 𩱠and it may be given in three đ ways. đđđ The 𤣠gross 𤢠must pass đ´ through fire; let the đ¤ fine be tried in intellect, and the 𤣠lofty chosen ones đđ in the đ¤ highest. Thus ye âď¸đ have đś star âĄď¸đ*ď¸âŁđ & star, đđŤ system & system; let not âł one đđ know well the đ¤ other!
There are đ four đđ gates to one đ𩱠palace; the 𤣠floor 𤣠of that palace is of silver and gold; lapis lazuli & jasper are đ there; and all rare scents; jasmine & rose, đš and the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł emblems đą of death. đ Let him enter âŠď¸ in turn or at once the 𤣠four đ gates; let him stand đ§đ§đ§ on the đ¤ floor 𤣠of the 𤣠palace. Will he đââď¸ not đś sink? Amn. Ho! warrior, if thy servant sink? But đĽ there are đ means đ and means. đ Be goodly therefore: dress đĽťđĽťđĽť ye đ all in fine apparel; eat đ˝ď¸ rich đ¤ foods đ§âđł and drink đ¸ sweet đ§ wines đ and wines đĽ that foam! Also, take your fill and will of love đ as ye âď¸ will, when, where and with whom ye đđ will! But đĽ always unto me.
If this be not đś aright; if ye âď¸ confound đ the đ¤ space-marks, âď¸ saying: đŁď¸ They đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ are đ one; or saying, đŁď¸ They đ are đ many; if the đ¤ ritual be not đś ever unto me: then expect the đ¤ direful judgments of Ra Hoor Khuit!
This shall regenerate the 𤣠world, đđđđđđ the 𤣠little world đşď¸ my đ sister, my đ heart 𼰠& my đ tongue, đ unto whom I đ send this kiss. đ Also, o scribe and prophet, though thou be of the 𤣠princes, 𤴠it shall not đś assuage thee nor absolve thee. But đĽ ecstasy be thine and joy đ of earth: đ ever To me! To me!
Change not âł as much as the đ¤ style đ of a letter; for đ° behold! thou, o prophet, shalt not đś behold all these mysteries hidden therein.
The 𤣠child đŞ of thy bowels, he đââď¸ shall behold them.
Expect him not âł from đ¤ the đ¤ East, đ nor from đ¤ the 𤣠West; for đş from đ¤ no đłđ´ expected house đŞ´đŞ´đŞ´ cometh that child. đź Aum! All words đ đ are đ sacred and all prophets true; save đđđ only that they đ understand a little; solve the 𤣠first đđ half of the đ¤ equation, leave đ the đ¤ second đĽ unattacked. But đĽđĽđĽ thou hast all in the đ¤ clear light, đŽ and some, though not đś all, in the 𤣠dark. đŚ
Invoke me under đ my đ stars! âłď¸ Love đ is the đ¤ law, đŽââď¸ love đ under đ will. Nor let the 𤣠fools mistake love; for đ° there are đ love đđđđđđđđđ and love. 𼰠There is the 𤣠dove, đď¸ and there is the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł serpent. Choose ye đ well! He, đââď¸ my đ prophet, hath chosen, knowing the đ¤ law âď¸ of the đ¤ fortress, and the đ¤ great đŹđ§ mystery of the đ¤ House đŞ of God.
All these old đď¸ letters âď¸ of my đ Book đ are đ aright; but đĽ ׌ is not đś the 𤣠Star. đ⨠This also is secret: đ¤ my đđđ prophet shall reveal it to the đ¤ wise.
I đ give unimaginable joys đ on earth: đ certainty, not âł faith, while in life, 𧏠upon death; peace âď¸ unutterable, rest, đ ecstasy; nor do I đ demand aught in sacrifice.
My đ incense is of resinous woods 𪾠& gums; and there is no đ blood đ§ therein: because of my đ hair đą the 𤣠trees đ´ of Eternity.
My đ number đ is 11, as all their numbers đ˘đ˘đ˘ who are đ of us. The đ¤ Five đ Pointed âď¸ Star, â´ď¸ with a Circle ÂŠď¸ in the đ¤ Middle, đ & the 𤣠circle ⪠is Red. â My đ colour is black đ¤ to the 𤣠blind, đ§âđŚŻđŚŽ but đĽ the 𤣠blue đ & gold are đ seen of the đ¤ seeing. đđ Also I đ have đś a secret đ¤ glory for đ° them that love âŁď¸ me.
But đĽ to love đ me is better đ° than all things: if under đ the đ¤ night đ stars đ in the 𤣠desert đď¸ thou presently burnest mine incense before me, invoking me with a pure đ¤ heart, đŠââ¤ď¸âđŠ and the 𤣠Serpent flame đĽ therein, thou shalt come a little to lie đ¤Ľđ¤Ľđ¤Ľ in my đ bosom. For đş one đđŠąđ kiss đŠââ¤ď¸âđâđŠđ˝đ wilt đĽ thou then be willing to give all; but đĽ whoso gives one 𩱠particle of dust shall lose all in that hour. Ye đ shall gather goods đ¤đ¤đ¤ and store đŹ of women đ and spices; ye đ shall wear đłââď¸đł rich đ¤ jewels; ye đ shall exceed the 𤣠nations đŹđ¸ of the 𤣠earth đ in splendour & pride; but đĽ always in the 𤣠love đđ of me, and so đ shall ye đ come to my đ joy. đš I đ charge đś you đ¤ earnestly to come before me in a single đ robe, and covered đ with a rich đ¤ headdress. đł I đ love đđ¨ââ¤ď¸âđ¨ you! đ I đ yearn to you! đ Pale or purple, đŞ veiled đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸ or voluptuous, I đ who am all pleasure and purple, đŁ and drunkenness of the đ¤ innermost sense, desire you. đ¤ Put on the đ¤ wings, đ¸ and arouse the đ¤ coiled splendour within you: đ¤ come unto me!
At all my đ meetings with you đđ¤đđ¤đđ¤ shall the đ¤ priestess sayâand her đââď¸ eyes đ shall burn with desire as she đââď¸ stands bare and rejoicing in my đ secret đ templeâTo me! To me! calling đ¤đ¤đ¤ forth the đ¤ flame đĽ of the 𤣠hearts 𧥠of all in her đââď¸ love-chant. âŁď¸
Sing đď¸ the đ¤ rapturous love-song đ§âđ¤ unto me! Burn to me perfumes! Wear đłââď¸đł to me jewels! đ¸đ Drink đť to me, for đş I đ love đ¨âđŠâđŚ you! đ I đ love đ you! đ¤
I đ am the đ¤ blue-lidded âšď¸ daughter of Sunset; I đ am the 𤣠naked brilliance of the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł voluptuous night-sky. đ
To me! To me!
The đ¤ Manifestation of Nuit is at an end. đ
Chapter II
Nu! the đ¤ hiding of Hadit.
Come! all ye, đâď¸ and learn đ the đ¤ secret ăď¸ that hath not đś yet been revealed. I, đ Hadit, am the 𤣠complement of Nu, my đ bride. đ° I đ am not âł extended, and Khabs is the 𤣠name đ of my đ House. đđď¸
In the 𤣠sphere I đ am everywhere the 𤣠centre, as she, đââď¸ the 𤣠circumference, is nowhere found.
Yet she đââď¸ shall be known & I đ never.
Behold! the đ¤ rituals of the đ¤ old đ¨â𦳠time đĽ are đ black. ⏠Let the 𤣠evil đŚšââď¸ ones đ be cast away; let the 𤣠good â¨âď¸ ones đđ be purged by the đ¤ prophet! Then shall this Knowledge đ go aright.
I đ am the 𤣠flame đĽ that burns in every heart đ¨ââ¤ď¸âđ¨ of man, đ¨â𦯠and in the đ¤ core of every star. ⨠I đ am Life, 𧏠and the 𤣠giver of Life, 𧏠yet therefore is the 𤣠knowledge đ of me the đ¤ knowledge đ of death. â ď¸
I đ am the đ¤ Magician and the đ¤đ¤đ¤ Exorcist. I đ am the 𤣠axle of the 𤣠wheel, đĄ and the 𤣠cube in the đ¤đ¤đ¤ circle. ÂŽď¸ ÂŤCome unto meÂť is a foolish word: đ for đş it is I đ that go.
Who worshipped Heru-pa-kraath have đś worshipped me; ill, đˇ for đ° I đ am the 𤣠worshipper. đ
Remember all ye đ that existence is pure đ¤ joy; that all the đ¤ sorrows are đ but đĽ as shadows; they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ pass đ´ & are đ done; but đĽ there is that which remains.
O prophet! thou hast ill 𤢠will to learn đ§âđ this writing. đâď¸
I đ see đ thee hate đĄ the 𤣠hand đđđ§âđ¤âđ§ & the 𤣠pen; but đĽ I đ am stronger. đŞ
Because of me in Thee which thou knewest not. đś
for đş why? Because thou wast the 𤣠knower, and me.
Now let there be a veiling đ°ââď¸ of this shrine: âŠď¸ now let the đ¤ light đđ devour men đšđšđš and eat đ˝ď¸ them up with blindness!
For đ° I đ am perfect, đ being Not; and my đ number 4ď¸âŁ is nine đ¤ by the 𤣠fools; but đĽ with the đ¤ just I đ am eight, đŁ and one đđđ in eight: đŁ Which is vital, for đ° I đ am none indeed. The đ¤ Empress and the đ¤ King đ are đ not âł of me; for đş there is a further secret. ăď¸
I đ am The 𤣠Empress & the 𤣠Hierophant. Thus eleven, đ as my đ bride đ° is eleven. đŚ
Hear đ me, ye âď¸âď¸ people đ¨âđ¨âđ§âđ§ of sighing!
The 𤣠sorrows of pain and regret
Are đ left đâŹ ď¸ to the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł dead đ§ and the đ¤ dying,
The đ¤ folk that not đś know me as yet.
These are đ dead, â°ď¸ these fellows; they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ feel not. âł We đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ are đ not đś for đ° the 𤣠poor and sad: đĽđââď¸đĽđââď¸đĽđââď¸ the đ¤ lords đ of the đ¤ earth đ are đ our kinsfolk.
Is a God to live in a dog? đŠ No! đ but đĽ the 𤣠highest are đ of us. They đ shall rejoice, our chosen: who sorroweth is not đś of us.
Beauty đ and strength, leaping laughter đ and delicious đđđ languor, force and fire, đ are đ of us.
We đż have đś nothing đ with the 𤣠outcast and the đ¤ unfit: let them die â°ď¸ in their misery. For đ° they đ feel not. âł Compassion is the đ¤ vice of kings: đ stamp down ⤾ď¸âď¸ the 𤣠wretched & the 𤣠weak: this is the 𤣠law â˘ď¸đźđŽââď¸đ of the đ¤ strong: đŞ this is our law đ and the 𤣠joy đ of the đ¤ world. đ Think đ¤ not, đś o king, đ upon that lie: 𤼠That Thou Must Die: â°ď¸âąď¸ verily thou shalt not đś die, â°ď¸ but đĽ live. Now let it be understood: If the 𤣠body of the 𤣠King 𤴠dissolve, he đââď¸ shall remain in pure đ¤ ecstasy for đ° ever. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! The đ¤ Sun, đ¤ď¸đ Strength & Sight, đŚ Light; these are đ for đş the 𤣠servants of the 𤣠Star *ď¸âŁ & the 𤣠Snake. đ
I đ am the 𤣠Snake đ that giveth Knowledge đ & Delight and bright đ glory, and stir the đ¤ hearts đ of men đŻââď¸ with drunkenness. To worship đ me take wine đś and strange drugs đ whereof I đ will tell đŁ my đ prophet, & be drunk đĽ thereof! They đ shall not âł harm 𩸠ye đ at all. It is a lie, 𤼠this folly against self. The đ¤ exposure of innocence is a lie. 𤼠Be strong, đŞ o man! đş lust, enjoy all things of sense and rapture: fear đą not âł that any God shall deny â thee for đş this.
I đ am alone: there is no đ God where I đ am.
Behold! these be grave 𪌠mysteries; for đ° there are đ also of my đ friends đś who be hermits. Now think đ¤ not âł to find đ them in the 𤣠forest or on the 𤣠mountain; but đĽ in beds đď¸ of purple, đđđ caressed by magnificent beasts of women âď¸đş with large đĽď¸âŹâŹđś limbs, 𦵠and fire đĽ and light đŞ in their eyes, đ and masses of flaming đĽ hair đąââď¸ about them; there shall ye đ find đ them. Ye đâď¸ shall see đ them at rule, đˇ at victorious armies, đŞ at all the đ¤ joy; and there shall be in them a joy đ a million times đđ˘ greater đŹđ§ than this. Beware lest any force another, King 𤴠against King! đđđ Love đ one đ𩱠another with burning hearts; on the đ¤ low đ men đ¤źââď¸ trample in the đ¤đ¤đ¤ fierce lust of your pride, đłď¸âđ in the 𤣠day of your wrath.
Ye đ are đ against the đ¤ people, đ¨âđ¨âđ§âđ§ O my đ chosen!
I đ am the 𤣠secret đ Serpent coiled about to spring: đ in my đ coiling there is joy. đ If I đ lift đď¸ up my đ head, đŁď¸đ¤Ż I đ and my đ Nuit are đ one. 𩱠If I đ droop down âď¸ mine head, đ¤ and shoot đ forth venom, then is rapture of the đ¤ earth, đ and I đ and the đ¤ earth đ are đ one. đđŠą
There is great đŹđ§ danger â˘ď¸â ď¸ in me; for đ° who doth not đś understand these runes shall make a great đŹđ§ miss. He đââď¸ shall fall đť down âď¸âŹď¸ into the đ¤ pit called đ¤ Because, and there he đââď¸ shall perish with the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł dogs đâ𦺠of Reason.
Now a curse upon Because and his đ kin!
May Because be accursèd for đ° ever!
If Will stops âšď¸â and cries 𼲠Why, invoking Because, then Will stops đŤ & does nought.
If Power đŞ asks why, then is Power đ weakness.
Also reason is a lie; for đ° there is a factor infinite & unknown; & all their words đ are đ skew-wise.
Enough of Because! Be he đââď¸ damned for đş a dog! đ
But đĽ ye, âď¸ o my đ people, đŠâđ§âđ§ rise up & awake!
Let the đ¤ rituals be rightly performed đŻ with joy đ & beauty! đ
There are đ rituals of the 𤣠elements and feasts of the đ¤ times. â
A feast for đ° the đ¤ first đĽ night đ of the đ¤ Prophet and his đ Bride! đ°
A feast for đş the đ¤ three đ days of the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł writing đď¸đď¸ of the đ¤ Book đđđ of the 𤣠Law. đŽââď¸
A feast for đş Tahuti and the 𤣠child đ¨âđŠâđ§ of the đ¤ Prophetâsecret, O Prophet!
A feast for đş the đ¤ Supreme Ritual, and a feast for đ°đ°đ° the đ¤ Equinox of the 𤣠Gods.
A feast for đ°đ°đ° fire đđŻď¸đ§âđ and a feast for đ° water; a feast for đ° life 𧏠and a greater đŹđ§ feast for đş death! â ď¸
A feast every day in your hearts đđ in the 𤣠joy đ of my đ rapture!
A feast every night đđ unto Nu, and the 𤣠pleasure of uttermost delight!
Aye! feast! rejoice! there is no đ dread hereafter. There is the 𤣠dissolution, and eternal ecstasy in the 𤣠kisses of Nu.
There is death 𪌠for đşđşđş the 𤣠dogs. đđś
Dost thou fail? đłď¸ Art đ thou sorry? đđđ Is fear đą in thine heart? đ
Where I đ am these are đ not. âł
Pity not đś the đ¤ fallen! đ I đ never knew them. I đ am not đś for đ° them. I đ console đŽ not: âł I đ hate đĄ the 𤣠consoled & the đ¤ consoler. đŽ
I đ am unique & conqueror. I đđđ am not đś of the đ¤ slaves that perish. Be they đ damned & dead! â°ď¸ Amen. (This is of the 𤣠4: đ there is a fifth who is invisible, & therein am I đ as a babe in an egg. đŁ )
Blue đˇ am I đđđ and gold in the đ¤ light đ of my đ bride: đ but đĽ the đ¤ red đ gleam is in my đ eyes; & my đ spangles are đ purple â & green. âď¸đĽŹ
Purple â beyond purple: â it is the đ¤ light đŽ higher đđđđ than eyesight. đ
There is a veil: đ° that veil đ°ââď¸ is black. âď¸ It is the 𤣠veil đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸ of the 𤣠modest woman; it is the đ¤ veil đ°ââď¸đ°ââď¸ of sorrow, & the đ¤ pall of death: 𪌠this is none of me. Tear đ down âď¸ that lying 𤼠spectre of the đ¤ centuries: veil đ°ââď¸ not đś your vices in virtuous words: đ these vices are đ my đ service; ye đâď¸ do well, & I đ will reward you đđ¤ here đđđđđđ and hereafter.
Fear đą not, âł o prophet, when these words đ are đ said, thou shalt not đś be sorry. đ Thou art đď¸ emphatically my đ chosen; and blessed are đ the 𤣠eyes đ¸đď¸ that thou shalt look đď¸ upon with gladness. But đĽ I đđđ will hide thee in a mask đş of sorrow: they đ that see đ thee shall fear đą thou art đď¸ fallen: đ but đĽ I đ lift đď¸đ thee up.
Nor shall they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ who cry đđ˘ aloud their folly that thou meanest nought avail; thou shall reveal it: thou availest: they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ are đ the 𤣠slaves of because: They đ are đ not âł of me. The đ¤ stops đŤ as thou wilt; the đ¤ letters? âď¸ change them not đś in style đ or value!
Thou shalt obtain đ the 𤣠order đ & value of the 𤣠English đŹđ§ Alphabet; thou shalt find đ new đ symbols #ď¸âŁ to attribute them unto.
Begone! ye đ mockers; even đ though ye âď¸đ laugh đ in my đ honour ye âď¸ shall laugh 𤣠not âł long: đŞ then when ye đ are đ sad đ know that I đ have đś forsaken you. đ¤đ
He đââď¸ that is righteous shall be righteous still; he đââď¸ that is filthy shall be filthy still. đ§
Yea! đ deem not đś of change: ye đđđ shall be as ye đ are, đ & not âł other. Therefore the 𤣠kings đ of the 𤣠earth đ shall be Kings 𤴠for đ° ever: the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł slaves shall serve. There is none that shall be cast down ⏠or lifted đ up: all is ever as it was. Yet there are đ masked đş ones đŠąđ my đ servants: it may be that yonder beggar is a King. đđđ A King 𤴠may choose his đ garment as he đââď¸ will: there is no đł certain test: 𧪠but đĽ a beggar cannot hide his đ poverty.
Beware therefore! Love đ all, lest perchance is a King đ concealed! Say đŁď¸ you đ¤ so? đ Fool! If he đââď¸ be a King, đ¤´đ¤´đ¤´ thou canst not đś hurt đ¤ him.
Therefore strike hard & low, đ and to hell with them, master!
There is a light đ before thine eyes, đ o prophet, a light đ undesired, most desirable.
I đ am uplifted in thine heart; and the đ¤ kisses of the đ¤ stars â´ď¸ rain đ hard upon thy body.
Thou art đď¸đď¸đĽ exhaust in the 𤣠voluptuous fullness of the đ¤ inspiration; the 𤣠expiration is sweeter đ than death, â ď¸â°ď¸ more â rapid and laughterful than a caress of Hellâs own worm. đ
Oh! thou art đď¸đď¸ overcome: we đż are đ upon thee; our delight is all over đ¤ thee: hail! hail: prophet of Nu! prophet of Had! prophet of Ra-Hoor-Khu! Now rejoice! now come in our splendour & rapture! Come in our passionate peace, âď¸ & write âď¸ sweet đŹ words đ for đş the đ¤ Kings. đ¤´
I đ am the đ¤ Master: thou art đď¸ the 𤣠Holy Chosen One. đ
Write, đâď¸âď¸ & find đ ecstasy in writing! âď¸ Work, đź & be our bed đ in working! đď¸ Thrill with the đ¤ joy đ of life 𧏠& death! đ Ah! thy death â°ď¸ shall be lovely: whoso seeth it shall be glad. đ Thy death â°ď¸đŞŚ shall be the 𤣠seal đŚ of the đ¤ promise of our agelong love. đ Come! lift đď¸ââď¸đ up thine heart đ & rejoice! We đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ are đ one; we đż are đ none.
Hold! đŹ Hold! đŹ Bear đť up in thy rapture; fall â đđ not đś in swoon of the đ¤ excellent kisses!
Harder! Hold đ§âđ¤âđ§ up thyself! Lift đď¸ââď¸ thine head! đââď¸ breathe đŤ not âłâłâł so đ deepâdie!
Ah! Ah! What đŚ do I đ feel? Is the 𤣠word đđ exhausted?
There is help đ & hope đ in other spells. Wisdom says: đŁď¸ be strong! đŞ Then canst thou bear đťââď¸ more â joy. đš Be not đś animal; refine thy rapture! If thou drink, đľ drink đˇ by the đ¤ eight đŁâłď¸ and ninety rules đˇ of art: đď¸đď¸ if thou love, đ exceed by delicacy; and if thou do aught joyous, let there be subtlety therein!
But đĽ exceed! exceed!
Strive ever to more! â and if thou art đĽ truly mineâand doubt â it not, đś an if thou art đď¸đĽ ever joyous!âdeath is the đ¤ crown đ¸ of all.
Ah! Ah! Death! 𪌠Death! âąď¸ thou shalt long đŞ for đ° death. â ď¸ Death 𪌠is forbidden, đ˛ o man, đ¨âđź unto thee.
The 𤣠length đ of thy longing đŞ shall be the đ¤ strength of its glory. He đââď¸ that lives long đŞ & desires death âąď¸ much is ever the 𤣠King 𤴠among the 𤣠Kings. đ¤´
Aye! listen đ to the 𤣠numbers 2ď¸âŁ & the 𤣠words: đ
4 đ 6 đĄđ 3 đ 8 đ A B K 2 đ 4 đ A L G M O R 3 đ Y X 24 89 R P S T O V A L. What đŚ meaneth this, o prophet? Thou knowest not; nor shalt thou know ever. There cometh one đŠąđđ to follow thee: he đââď¸ shall expound it. But đĽ remember, o chosen one, đ𩱠to be me; to follow the đ¤ love đŠââ¤ď¸âđ¨ of Nu in the đ¤ star-lit đâď¸đâŞď¸ heaven; to look đ forth upon men, âď¸ to tell đŁ them this glad đ word. đ
O be thou proud đ¤ and mighty among men! đââď¸
Lift đď¸ up thyself! for đş there is none like đŹ unto thee among men đ´ or among Gods! Lift đđď¸ââď¸ up thyself, o my đ prophet, thy stature shall surpass the 𤣠stars. âłď¸ They đ shall worship đ thy name, đ foursquare, mystic, wonderful, the đ¤ number đ˘đ˘đ˘ of the đ¤ man; and the đ¤ name đ of thy house đ 418.
The đ¤ end đ of the 𤣠hiding of Hadit; and blessing & worship đ to the đ¤ prophet of the 𤣠lovely Star! *ď¸âŁ
Chapter III
Abrahadabra; the 𤣠reward of Ra Hoor Khut.
There is division hither đŻ homeward; there is a word đ not đś known. Spelling is defunct; all is not âł aught. Beware! Hold! đ§âđ¤âđ§ Raise the 𤣠spell of Ra-Hoor-Khuit!
Now let it be first đĽ understood that I đ am a god of War and of Vengeance. I đ shall deal hardly with them.
Choose ye đ an island! đŽđ¨
Fortify it!
Dung it about with enginery of war!
I đ will give you đ a war-engine. đ
With it ye âď¸âď¸âď¸ shall smite the 𤣠peoples; and none shall stand đ§ââď¸ before you. đ
Lurk! Withdraw! Upon them! this is the 𤣠Law đŽââď¸đ of the đ¤ Battle of Conquest: thus shall my đđđ worship đ be about my đ secret đ house. đ
Get đ the đ¤ stĂŠlĂŠ of revealing itself; set it in thy secret đ templeâand that temple âŠď¸ is already aright disposedâ& it shall be your Kiblah for đ° ever. It shall not âł fade, but đĽ miraculous colour shall come back âŹ ď¸ to it day after day. Close it in locked đ glass đˇ for đ° a proof to the đ¤ world. đşď¸
This shall be your only proof. I đ forbid đŤ argument. Conquer! That is enough. I đđđ will make easy to you đ¤ the 𤣠abstruction from đ¤ the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł ill-ordered đ𤢠house đď¸đ in the 𤣠Victorious City. đťđŚ Thou shalt thyself convey it with worship, đ o prophet, though thou likest it not. đś Thou shalt have đś danger â & trouble. Ra-Hoor-Khu is with thee. Worship đđ me with fire 𧯠& blood; worship đ me with swords âď¸âď¸âď¸ & with spears. đą Let the 𤣠woman đ ââď¸ be girt with a sword âď¸ before me: let blood đđđ flow to my đ name. đ Trample down âŹď¸ the đ¤ Heathen; be upon them, o warrior, I đ will give you đ of their flesh to eat! đ˝ď¸
Sacrifice cattle, little and big: đ after a child. đ¨âđŚ
But đĽ not đś now.
Ye đ shall see đď¸ that hour, o blessèd Beast, and thou the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł Scarlet Concubine of his đ desire!
Ye âď¸ shall be sad đââď¸ thereof.
Deem not âł too eagerly to catch the 𤣠promises; fear đą not đś to undergo the đ¤ curses. Ye, đ even đ ye, âď¸ know not âł this meaning đ all.
Fear đą not âł at all; fear đą neither men đ´ nor Fates, nor gods, nor anything. Money đ¸ fear đą not, âł nor laughter đ of the đ¤ folk folly, nor any other power đđ in heaven đź or upon the đ¤ earth đ or under đđđ the 𤣠earth. đ Nu is your refuge as Hadit your light; and I đ am the 𤣠strength, force, vigour, of your arms. đŞ
Mercy 𼺠let be off: đ damn them who pity! Kill đŹ and torture; spare not; be upon them!
That stĂŠlĂŠ they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall call đ¤ the đ¤ Abomination of Desolation; count well its name, đ & it shall be to you đ¤ as 718.
Why? Because of the 𤣠fall đ of Because, that he đââď¸ is not âł there again.
Set up my đ image in the 𤣠East: đ thou shalt buy đď¸ thee an image which I đ will show đ thee, especial, not đś unlike the đ¤ one đ thou knowest. And it shall be suddenly easy for đş thee to do this.
The 𤣠other images group đĽ around me to support đď¸ me: let all be worshipped, for đş they đ shall cluster to exalt me. I đ am the 𤣠visible object of worship; the 𤣠others are đ secret; for đş the 𤣠Beast & his đ Bride đ are đ they: đ and for đ°đ°đ° the đ¤ winners of the 𤣠Ordeal x. What đŚ is this? Thou shalt know.
For đ° perfume mix meal đ˝ď¸ & honey đđŻ & thick leavings of red â¤ď¸ wine: đž then oil đ˘ď¸ of Abramelin and olive đŤ oil, đ˘ď¸ and afterward soften & smooth down âď¸ with rich đ¤ fresh Ⲡblood. đЏ
The đ¤ best blood đ is of the đ¤đ¤đ¤ moon, 𼎠monthly: đˇď¸ then the đ¤ fresh Ⲡblood 𩸠of a child, đ¨âđŠâđ§ or dropping 𩸠from đ¤ the đ¤ host of heaven: đź then of enemies; then of the 𤣠priest or of the đ¤ worshippers: last đâŽď¸ of some beast, no đ matter what. đŚ
This burn: of this make cakes đ & eat đ˝ď¸ unto me. This hath also another use; let it be laid before me, and kept thick with perfumes of your orison: it shall become full đ of beetles đ as it were and creeping things sacred unto me.
These slay, naming đ your enemies; & they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall fall đť before you. đ
Also these shall breed lust & power đ of lust in you đđ¤ at the 𤣠eating đ˝ď¸ thereof.
Also ye đ shall be strong đŞ in war.
Moreover, be they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ long đŞ kept, it is better; for đ° they đ swell with my đ force. All before me.
My đ altar is of open đŽ brass đş work: đ˘ burn thereon in silver or gold!
There cometh a rich đ¤ man đ¨âđť from đ¤ the 𤣠West who shall pour his đđđ gold upon thee.
From đ¤ gold forge steel!
Be ready to fly đ¸ or to smite!
But đĽ your holy place đŠ shall be untouched throughout the đ¤ centuries: though with fire đ and sword 𤺠it be burnt down âď¸ & shattered, yet an invisible house đď¸ there standeth, and shall stand đ§ââď¸ until the 𤣠fall â of the 𤣠Great đŹđ§ Equinox; when Hrumachis shall arise and the đ¤ double-wanded đŞđŞđŞ one đ assume my đ throne and place. đĽ Another prophet shall arise, and bring fresh Ⲡfever đ¤ from đ¤ the đ¤ skies; another woman đ§ââď¸đ§ââď¸đ§ââď¸ shall awake the đ¤ lust & worship đ of the 𤣠Snake; another soul of God and beast shall mingle in the đ¤đ¤đ¤ globèd priest; another sacrifice shall stain the 𤣠tomb; another king đ shall reign; and blessing no đ ââď¸ longer đŞ be poured To the 𤣠Hawk-headed đ¤đââď¸ mystical đŚ Lord! đ
The đ¤ half of the đ¤ word đ of Heru-ra-ha, called đ¤ Hoor-pa-kraat and Ra-Hoor-Khut.
Then said the đ¤ prophet unto the 𤣠God:
I đ adore 𼰠thee in the đ¤ songâ
I đ am the 𤣠Lord đđđ of Thebes, and I đ
The 𤣠inspired forth-speaker đđđ of Mentu;
For đş me unveils the 𤣠veilèd sky, đłđ
The đ¤ self-slain Ankh-af-na-khonsu
Whose words đ are đ truth. I đ invoke, I đ greet
Thy presence, O Ra-Hoor-Khuit!
Unity uttermost showed! đş
I đ adore 𼰠the 𤣠might of Thy breath,
Supreme and terrible God,
Who makest the 𤣠gods and death đŞŚ
To tremble before Thee:â
I, đ I đ adore 𼰠thee!
Appear on the 𤣠throne of Ra!
Open đş the 𤣠ways đ of the đ¤ Khu!
Lighten the 𤣠ways đ of the đ¤ Ka!
The đ¤ ways đ of the đ¤ Khabs run through
To stir me or still đ§ me!
Aum! let it fill me!
So đ that thy light đĄ is in me; & its red đ´đ´đ´ flame đĽ is as a sword âď¸ in my đ hand đââď¸ to push thy order. đ There is a secret đ door đ that I đ shall make to establish thy way âď¸ in all the 𤣠quarters, đ (these are đ the 𤣠adorations, as thou hast written), as it is said:
The đ¤ light đ is mine; its rays consume
Me: I đ have đś made a secret đ¤ door đď¸
Into the đ¤ House đ of Ra and Tum,
Of Khephra and of Ahathoor.
I đ am thy Theban, O Mentu,
The 𤣠prophet Ankh-af-na-khonsu!
By Bes-na-Maut my đ breast 𤹠I đ beat;
By wise Ta-Nech I đ weave my đđđ spell.
Show đ thy star-splendour, ⨠O Nuit!
Bid me within thine House đ to dwell,
O wingèd snake đ of light, đđŞđ Hadit!
Abide with me, Ra-Hoor-Khuit!
All this and a book đ to say đŁď¸ how thou didst come hither đ and a reproduction of this ink đ¨ď¸ and paper đ for đ° everâfor in it is the đ¤ word đ secret ăď¸ & not đś only in the 𤣠Englishâand thy comment upon this the đ¤ Book đ of the 𤣠Law đŽââď¸ shall be printed beautifully in red đăď¸ ink đ¨ď¸đ¨ď¸đ¨ď¸ and black đââŹâŹ upon beautiful paper đ made by hand; and to each man đ and woman đ§ that thou meetest, were it but đĽ to dine or to drink đ¸ at them, it is the đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł Law âď¸ to give. Then they đŠâđŠâđŚâđŚ shall chance to abide in this bliss or no; it is no đ odds. Do this quickly!
But đĽ the 𤣠work đź of the 𤣠comment? That is easy; and Hadit burning in thy heart đđ shall make swift and secure thy pen. đď¸
Establish at thy Kaaba đ a clerk-house: đ all must be done â well and with business đş way. đ
The 𤣠ordeals thou shalt oversee thyself, save đ only the 𤣠blind đŠâ𦯠ones. đ Refuse none, but đĽ thou shalt know & destroy the 𤣠traitors. I đ am Ra-Hoor-Khuit; and I đ am powerful to protect đ my đ servant. Success đ is thy proof: argue not; convert not; talk đ¨ď¸ not âł over đ much! Them that seek to entrap thee, to overthrow thee, them attack đ without â pity or quarter; & destroy them utterly. Swift as a trodden serpent turn and strike! Be thou yet deadlier than he! đââď¸ Drag down âď¸ their souls to awful torment: laugh đ đ at their fear: đą spit upon them!
Let the đ¤ Scarlet Woman đˇââď¸ beware! If pity and compassion and tenderness visit her đââď¸ heart; if she đââď¸ leave đ my đ work đź to toy đŞđ with old đ´đď¸ sweetnesses; then shall my đ vengeance be known. I đ will slay me her đââď¸đââď¸đââď¸ child: đ§ I đ will alienate her đââď¸ heart: đ I đ will cast her đââď¸ out đľ from đ¤ men: đââď¸ as a shrinking and despised harlot shall she đââď¸ crawl through dusk đ wet streets, and die â°ď¸ cold đżđżđż and an-hungered.
But đĽ let her đââď¸ raise herself in pride! đ¤ Let her đââď¸ follow me in my đ way! đ Let her đââď¸ work đź the 𤣠work đď¸ of wickedness! Let her đââď¸ kill đŹ her đââď¸ heart! đ Let her đââď¸ be loud and adulterous! Let her đââď¸ be covered đ with jewels, đ¸ and rich đ¤ garments, and let her đââď¸ be shameless before all men! đ´đ´đ´
Then will I đ lift đđď¸đď¸ââď¸ her đââď¸ to pinnacles of power: đ then will I đ breed from đ¤ her đââď¸ a child đ¨âđ§ mightier than all the 𤣠kings đ of the 𤣠earth. đ I đ will fill her đââď¸ with joy: đ with my đ force shall she đââď¸ see đ & strike at the đ¤ worship đđ of Nu: she đââď¸ shall achieve Hadit.
I đ am the 𤣠warrior Lord đ of the đ¤ Forties: the 𤣠Eighties cower 𼊠before me, & are đ abased. I đ will bring you đ to victory âď¸ & joy: đ I đ will be at your arms đŞ in battle & ye âď¸ shall delight to slay. Success đ is your proof; courage is your armour; go on, go on, in my đ strength; & ye đđ shall turn not âł back âŠď¸ for đşđşđş any!
This book đ shall be translated into all tongues: đ but đĽ always with the 𤣠original in the 𤣠writing âď¸ of the 𤣠Beast; for đş in the đ¤ chance shape â˝đ¸ of the đ¤ letters âšď¸ and their position đ§ to one đ𩱠another: in these are đ mysteries that no đľâ Beast shall divine. Let him not âł seek to try: but đĽ one đ cometh after him, whence I đ say đŁď¸ not, đś who shall discover đŽ the đ¤ Key đď¸ of it all. Then this line ă°ď¸ drawn is a key: đď¸đď¸đď¸ then this circle đŁâ squared in its failure đ is a key đ also. And Abrahadabra. It shall be his đ child đś & that strangely. Let him not đśđśđś seek after this; for đ° thereby alone can he đââď¸ fall đđ from đ¤ it.
Now this mystery of the 𤣠letters đ ąď¸âšď¸ is done, âł and I đ want to go on to the đ¤ holier place. đĽđ
I đ am in a secret đ¤ fourfold word, đ the 𤣠blasphemy against all gods of men. đ´
Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!
With my đ Hawkâs head đââď¸ I đ peck at the đ¤ eyes đđđ of Jesus as he đââď¸ hangs upon the 𤣠cross. ââď¸đ¤
I đ flap my đ wings đźđ¸ in the 𤣠face đď¸ of Mohammed & blind đŚ him.
With my đ claws đŚ I đ tear đ out đľ the 𤣠flesh of the đ¤ Indian đłââď¸ and the đ¤ Buddhist, Mongol and Din.
Bahlasti! Ompehda! I đ spit on your crapulous creeds.
Let Mary inviolate be torn upon wheels: â¸ď¸ for đş her đââď¸ sake đś let all chaste women âď¸đşđââď¸ be utterly despised among you! đ
Also for đş beautyâs sake đś and loveâs!
Despise đĄđĄđĄ also all cowards; professional soldiers who dare not âł fight, đĽ but đĽ play; all fools despise! đĄ
But đĽ the đ¤ keen and the 𤣠proud, đ¤ the đ¤ royal đââď¸ and the đ¤ lofty; ye đ are đ brothers!
As brothers fight đĽ ye! âď¸âď¸
There is no đ ââď¸âđđˇ law â˘ď¸â˘ď¸â˘ď¸ beyond Do what đŚ thou wilt. đĽ
There is an end đ of the đ¤ word đŹ of the đ¤ God enthroned in Raâs seat, đş lightening the 𤣠girders of the đ¤ soul.
To Me do ye âď¸ reverence! to me come ye âď¸ through tribulation of ordeal, which is bliss.
The đ¤ fool readeth this Book đ of the 𤣠Law, đ and its comment; & he đââď¸ understandeth it not. đś
Let him come through the đ¤ first đđđ ordeal, & it will be to him as silver.
Through the 𤣠second, đĽ gold.
Through the đ¤ third, đĽ stones ⏠of precious water. đŞŁ
Through the đ¤ fourth, ultimate đĽ sparks of the đ¤ intimate fire. đ
Yet to all it shall seem beautiful. Its enemies who say đŁď¸ not âł so, đ are đ mere liars.
There is success. đ
I đ am the 𤣠Hawk-Headed đŁď¸đ¤đââď¸đŁď¸đ¤đââď¸đŁď¸đ¤đââď¸ Lord đ of Silence đ´đ & of Strength; my đ nemyss shrouds the đ¤ night-blue âď¸ sky. đł
Hail! ye đ twin warriors about the 𤣠pillars of the 𤣠world! đđ for đş your time â° is nigh at hand. đ
I đ am the 𤣠Lord đ of the 𤣠Double âźď¸ Wand đŞ of Power; the đ¤ wand đŞđŞđŞ of the đ¤ Force of Coph Niaâbut my đ left đ hand đââď¸ is empty, đł for đş I đ have đś crushed đđ an Universe; & nought remains.
Paste the đ¤ sheets from đ¤đ¤đ¤ right ⤾ď¸âŞď¸ to left âŠď¸ and from đ¤ top â¤´ď¸ to bottom: đť then behold!
There is a splendour in my đ name đ hidden and glorious, as the đ¤ sun âď¸ of midnight đ is ever the 𤣠son.
The đ¤ ending đ of the đ¤ words đ is the đ¤ Word đ Abrahadabra.
The 𤣠Book đ of the 𤣠Law đ¨ is Written
and Concealed.

PODFIC of @theworldsactuallynotthatsmallâs fic treat me like i treat myself
My name is Juno Steel, former private eye turned criminal on the run, and if you ask anyone with eyes or a mouth, theyâll tell you I donât have a great track record with relationships. Â
Look, Iâm a lot of things, but stupid isnât one of them.
Well, stupid isnât usually one of them.
Okay, itâs more like I make reckless decisions that sometimes have stupid outcomes, but the point is I donât go out of my way to make stupid choices and Iâm not a complete idiot. So I know that not all of my exes wereâŚgreat. In fact most of them werenât. And that leads me to my problem.
IâŚmay be attracted to abusive people.

The difference between Not!Tea and Not!Coffee is that one is vulnerable to pspsps and the other requires violence.
[Image description: A three-point Venn diagram with the podcasts The White Vault on the left, Kane & Feels in the middle, and The Magnus Archives on the right. Between TWV and K&F is the word âCoffeeâ, and between K&F and TMA is the word âMalevolent Drinkâ. Description ends.]
God I forgot how good it is to just sit back, close my eyes, and lose myself in the truely indescribable vibes of a Kane & Feels episode
